Hey i recently purchased fluval premium mechanical filtering ceramic rings without knowing
that there are biological mechanical n chemical filtering medias. So my question is can the rings work as bio media n capture the necessary bacteria since its ceramic or would it just work exclusively as mechanical filtration only any answer would be useful

hey...10 15 airstones can be use instead of ceremic ring? bcz airstones have shape as c.ring.....everything is same...but with airstone...will get colors too...wats ur suggestion!!

Nice video, please advise the recommended flow rates for bio media filter, does the bacteria need more retention time ? Also, is it okay for the bio media to be submerged in water all the time or needs exchange with air for breathing time . Thank you

Came new to your channel bro . Nice and content is good . I just recently added ceramic rings and bio balls and also carbon . I saw after adding them tank water became cloudy with white Color might be I don’t wash them properly . Should I change water now or should I leave them as is to make filter work ?

Is it necessary that the bio balls & the ceramic rings have to be always submersed in water in your filter box. Since I have a top filter & the water outlet is on the bottom hence water does not collect in the filter box so can I still use ceramic rings & bio balls. Please advise

Sammy brother that's a very good question 🙂 so aap ek kaam kr skte hai jo outlet hai top box ka waha par aap sponge cut kr k hole k size ka fit kr dijie isse ye hoga that water thoda dheere dheere out hoga and than top box me water thoda rukega and than it will be fine to use 🙂

If you dont mind the look of it in your tank then definitely you can drop it in your aquarium by putting it in a mesh bag
