I am used to Miami condos and for that price you can still get a true masterpiece trophy property where as for this unit I appreciate the removal of that beam and the new windows but the choice of finishes are basically OK but I am not wowed at all by them and all the furnishing really has to go.

Thank you for your comment. I understand where you're coming from :-), but what 'mainland' :-)) people don't understand is that Hawaii properties are very different. It's not the typical per sf price that everyone in real estate calculates, our properties are all about LOCATION and VIEW.
With that being said, this property is located in Wailea, the six square kilometers of the BEST place on the planet (safety, weather, views, ocean, restaurants, resorts). Of course I'm biased 😉.
And the direct ocean shoreline is such a tiny portion, which makes this property almost priceless. There is no available oceanfront in Wailea, and any future build further down in Makena will have different setbacks today. Nobody will ever be this close to the water on the south shore of Maui.

As an appraiser for 20 years and an absolute lover of Hawaii, this is one of the most over priced properties I have seen! Maybe 10 because of the view.

Well, I'll respectfully disagree. Nothing can ever be build this close to the ocean on Maui, and the exclusivity & density of the complex can't be duplicated either.
