Growing up with a father who owned an antique furniture store, Leanne has always been drawn to pieces that tell a story, giving her home a unique and lived-in feel. Over the years, she has meticulously renovated her space, creating the perfect haven for herself, her husband, and their three daughters.

I find interesting this video came out on Fathers Day and the hostess’s father clearly had a large impact on her home/design/life. Just pretty sweet is all.
I’ll be honest, my heart sank a little when I thought of an American doing a London house (I’ve watched all of those Dallas homes, very glam) but she has created a really bespoke original interior and I just wanted to hug her when she called the downstairs loo “the toilet” instead of “the powder room”. She has vision and flair, it’s a gorgeous space all thanks to her imagination and most importantly she has kept the integrity of the building, taking the time to seek out reclaimed doors etc on E Bay.
Many of us Americans adore & prefer the English esthetic over the typical American style. I usually choose the Homeworthy filmed in England over the ones filmed in US. My personal exceptions are ones with Southern cottage, NYC traditional descriptions. My only magazine subscriptions are English Home, UK published Country Living & Country Home. So, I loved that she embraced the traditional British design & did not rip out & "modernizing" everything. 😊 (I won't even watch the Dallas glam homes! 😂)
I know what you mean, I’m from Dallas and i thought these glam homes were the norm. But honestly I’m learning that i love these English homes and the cottage style so much more ❤
The Dallas aesthetic is a beast unto itself. The thing about the US is that diff parts of the country have their own design vibes. I will say, as an interior designer, the whole English country/cottage aesthetic is hot right now in the all parts of the US.
This woman is brilliant. The kitchen is honestly one of my favorites ever. It's warm, it's lived in, it's stunning. Hopefully, I can hire you someday Leanne.

I enjoyed this tour and listening to Leanne talk about the home. Her frankness about her budget was refreshing because most us have budgets when doing home projects. Often when watching these videos I wonder how can all these people afford all these wonderful pieces and projects.
Such great style, and it’s interesting how she has inexpensive and practical pieces peppered throughout along with the very elegant touches. I’m also a plant person so I appreciate the greenery throughout the house.
I am in plant heaven...what a beautiful home!!! Her furniture pieces are to die for and love all the memories that go with them. Again as with most designers homes not a barn door or trendy piece to be found...her home reflects her family and what they all love...the way it should be!!!! Another fabulous tour HW!!!!!

I adore this home and adore her. I love that she's picking mantles up off the street and hunting on Ebay. I also appreciate that they didn't trash every single thing, like those tiles and the moldings. It's also fascinating to learn that microcement is so easy to clean. I know she's American but your foreign home tours are always my favorites.

Smart and interesting hostess. I would have loved to ask her how and why she ended up settling in London. Paths are usually fascinating, sometimes markedly so. Loved it. Her home is not pretentious or too perfect, but rather so welcoming and homey. I love the detail Leanne shares about every considered choice she makes.
That is what I can call a DESIGN, and this woman is a DESIGNER. So much of an unique touch and ideas instead of others calling themselves designers, yet, just a copycats of each other's banal, common place ideas or , sometimes, plain unattractive approach to the design with floral wallpaper (ceilings are included) all over until your eyes get crossed. Earthy, real , creative, beautiful, UNEXPECTED in its best sense, ...so far from pretentious "designs" we've seen so much lately. She is beautiful, so, is her cat !🌼

I grew up in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, just north of Vermont, and at one point lived in London. She's done an incredible job of mixing New England with England. Her juxtapositions are fantastic. Love the pine mixed with MCM. I adore what she's done. What an incredibly talented designer and decorator! And what a dress!

Very nice & charming home. The designer's lack of eye contact (maybe due to shyness/or difficulty speaking infront of a camera really began to get to me after awhile.
