1) I didn't see the other candidates, I didn't know anything about them (there was little information about them during the voting)

It would be more accurate to say that Russia has played against another European country for the first time since the invasion.
They already had other friendlies against teams from other continents.
Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Iran, Iraq, Kenya, Cameroon, Cuba and an upcoming one against Paraguay.

There are districts where police can't enter at all filled with various oppressed minorities who came to live there for a chance of better life from the countries that west have already completely destroyed and subjugated (like Lybia, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan etc) (there is no such thing in Belgrade nowadays for example)
