- I specially made this video for educational purposes of anyone interested about seafaring and/or cargo ship design.
I carefully toured around each area of the ship and explained a bit about the different parts of the area. I was not able to explain much about the machineries in the engine room since I am a Deck Officer. I still have some knowledge about the machineries so if you are curious just drop a comment below.
It’s so hard to believe that so much equipment is needed to run this amazing machine!
Thank you very much for showing us around your massive container ship the engineering spaces are like cathedrals!!
The size of the Engine room is insane. That is truly massive
Thanks for the tour

I was impressed how incredibly clean your vessel is as well
Awesome video thank you. It is a little strange walking all through engineering and never seeing another person. I guess that shows how well the ship is managed and maintained. Thanks again for the video.
And the ship is amazingly clean. Spotless!
Thank you! We take cleanliness seriously because it is also related to safety. Due to the size of the ship, we don't see everyone often. Even more for this vlog because this was filmed on a Sunday.
Hi Rodnie! How many is the ships crew?
It s so CLEAN inside...!.....mister you explain very well
Thank you! It is a collaborative effort of the crew onboard. Cleanliness is directly related to safety. So we take it seriously. Subscribe and stay tuned for more vlogs like this!
Good. Maersk is important company.
Wunderfull, wunderfull...wauw. Thank you very match ! GREETINGS FROM THE NETHERLANDS
Very interesting tour. Thank you so much!
I watch this fishing vessel vlog out of Dutch and it's just a floating bucket of rust. Your vessel is amazingly clean and well kept. With Aloha...
In Maersk, we have a high standard of procedures for the upkeep of the ship. Most of these things relates directly to Safety which is our priority. That's why we take it seriously.
Watching from Canada, thank you so much for your video show , so amazing for me , never been seeing and working there , proud of you for your great job , your a great workers as your place of Ocean liner container ship of things explaining about , always all of your workers and yours ship anywhere go and come back in safe to see all of your family meet happy and healthy , God keep and safe , I am worshipping and pray for you always, may god bless you all.
Thank you so much for your beautiful thoughts! May you have great days ahead and stay safe as well. Subscribe and stay tuned for more videos like this. I'll be uploading more tours of my work environment.
Can't believe I watched this entire video. I thought I'd be skimming through it fast but no - kept my full attention. As a computer engineer, I have taken detailed tours of two Carnival cruise ships and a fast ferry (hydroplane crossing Lake Michigan in USA). Thanks so much for covering so many aspects of the ship - absolutely loved it, and a rare find. Thanks for showing one of the ID plates of the 2Mw generators running off each propeller shaft. How do you and only one other person run an entire ship? (Chuckle). You made it to the Table Tennis quarter finals!
Wow! I am flattered to have a viewer like you! I actually am the one who organized the tournaments (also darts and foosball). During evenings, I call on the players and just have fun. I made it a month-long event. This is not usual, it is only so because I volunteered to make an effort. The ship is pretty lonely actually if you don't know how to have some fun. Anyway, if you're interested in walk tours like this, subscribe and stay tuned. I will be joining a new fleet which is an innovation of our company - a completely different design and engine systems, even among all companies.
Thank you for this great video. It is very interesting.
Besar banget vessel-nya! Thank you videonya bro!
Thank you bro! Subscribe and stay tuned. More like this soon on my next ships!
@@rodniemaluya7962 👍💯🔥
You should do a breakdown of all the rooms Without sound and just narrate it. That would be found Very interesting And probably take several videos To accomplish. It would make for a good content.
Thank you for your suggestion. I would definitely put more effort in producing my next vlogs. 😄
Thank you indeed! Very interesting. It was amazing how clean the low engine rooms were. Also that there were no other people around. I would personally be too scared to go way down those small steps to the prop shaft area lol! But very interesting, something we would never get to see. Best wishes, Carol from Canada 🇨🇦
Thank you for watching! Cleanliness is closely related to safety which we always prioritize. This was filmed on a Sunday, most of engineers are resting but even on a weekday, I still seldom see everyone. More tours like this soon on our new innovative ships! Please subscribe and stay tuned.
@@rodniemaluya7962 will subscribe. Very cool. From a trucker and rail enthusiast
Man that’s one big Ship it blows my mind the size of this thing it’s huge cheers ❤️🙏👍🦘🇦🇺🧌😃
It really is huge. There are 11 ships with exact same design in this fleet. It demands more physical effort to work around the ship. I will be joining a more interesting new type of ship in the company soon fresh from the shipyard. Subscribe and stay tuned for more like this.
It is indeed huge! Takes a lot of effort and time to go around.
Thank you!
Good work there mate , thanks from Australia , for the tour , love machinery and ships n boats of all kind.
Thank you! Subscribe and stay tuned for more mate! I will do more rare videos of actual running machineries of our ships. Soon I will be joining a ship powered by methanol.
What a piece of machinery! I love that noise
I'll be touring another vessel fresh from shipyard. If you're interested with machines, look forward to it!
@@rodniemaluya7962 I do!
Thank you for this upload. Your boss can be proud of you! Maybe some more shots of the sea around you will be appreciated. It will give everybody an idea how lonely and small you can be although its a large ship. Greetings from the Netherlands. Good luck! 🇳🇱
Thank you very much! Subscribe and stay tuned for more. I will be joining a new fleet soon and it is interesting.
Thank you for the tour around, fine engine room. Best regards from Denmark 🇩🇰

Thanks, great tour
Thank you for watching!
Interesting tour
glad to have caught your interest! thanks!
7:06 what trips me out is he’s walking about the same speed as the ship is going forward and it looks like he’s just walking in the same spot until reaching the rear
A well trained crew who know his ship well.
Man that's some big rope
Yes they're big. Arm's thickness, some even thick as legs.
Good very Nice tour amazing.thanks
Thank you! More videos like this soon! Subscribe and stay tuned!
Awesome tour. Not a lot of good ones out there that aren't all edited down and jump around the ship
Thank you! It's the goal of my vlogs. A realistic walkthrough without too many cuts and edits. Interested people can learn better.
33:12 i hate that lube oil sound. And it always turn on in wrong time))
You must be an experienced Engineer :) I never knew about that sound. I'll be joining a newbuilding soon - a new kind of fleet with totally engine systems. Subscribe and stay tuned for more! Thanks!
Thank You !! Super !!
You're welcome! Subscribe and stay tuned for more!
So you work 8 hours a day 7 days a week wow! That’s intense, what do you do on the vessel?
great video, thank you!
You're welcome! More tours soon!
iT would be interesting if you showed all the rooms inside, open the door to every room
Thanks for watching! Several rooms are occupied, but sure next time I will be showing detailed features of our accommodation.
Love from Greece
Thank you! Love from Philippines!
Looks like you are the only one onboard😂😂😂😂
There are several of us. This was filmed on a Sunday. Still, even on normal days, I seldom see everyone. I frequently eat alone as well. 😅
@@rodniemaluya7962 😂😂😂😂😂😂,
That must be very exhausting to not see anyone even on a vessel away from Family
why does the gym need to be locked at all times during transiting the Suez canal ?
Very informative thank you. How many containers can the ship carry & how many crewman & officers are there? Are you an officer; I see you have 2 bars. Thank you again for sharing.
The ship can carry a maximum of 19 thousand containers. Crew number can vary depending on the manning arrangements. Yes, I am a second officer! Thanks for watching!
58 knots is not bad.
This ship needs to be “virtualized” using a suitable game engine and used as an FPS environment. It looks like an FPS player’s most ambitious dream. It would yield many days worth of gameplay before you kill all monsters. Then all of a sudden you realize there is a long forgotten container in which way more monsters have been hatching! And the container is about to burst! That would be a great sequel to the game! The third episode would include a wormhole leading to one of the numerous sister ships where you could resupply and explore before returning to the fight. (Until a monster follows you through the wormhole and starts an infestation on the sister ship…) Episode 4 could involve a time-travel-capable wormhole and a spaceship version of this ship.
Wow! That's a completely new idea for me and very interesting. Hope someone would develop one. Thanks for watching!
well done sir !!
thank you!
Good video
Thank you!
This thing is huge compared to my jon boat.
Thank you sir , 10/10 ، continue your sharings .
( from ETO cadet ) .
You're welcome. Subscribe and stay tuned for more! I will be joining another innovative ship of Maersk soon.
where is container terminals?

During TRAVEL.....HOW many meals ..have to be done each day ..?...
Our meals are in buffet style where we just pick what we like.
I was hoping you would show your fans the screen straight in front of your rudder indicators, and offset a little to the port of your telegraph and bow thruster telegraph (Engine Controls and bow thruster controls) The screen with the shape of the ship with the diagram of each main and bow thruster engine and the reference points the computer screen is using depending on what reference point the operator is using. That computer screen is the Dynamic Position computer, known as the DP. Which on that vessel you are required to hold an unlimited DP operators certificate. I am an unlimited DP operator as well as a Master Captain. I am well aware of your complete system and presentation, I just noticed you didn't say much of your electronic charts, and nothing of your DP system. I am also a GMDSS operator. As well as an unlimited Radar observer. I'm assuming you're a second deck officer, holding a Cert, of Competency as Officer of the watch. And Vietnamese? My wife is from Pampanga., Philippines. Best woman and prettiest I've ever met. She now has her naturalization Certificate, and is working for the US Post Office

Máquina do navio de premeiro mundo
It is indeed.
Feels like some, how to say, a huge dystopian facility, running all alone. Once a while somone walks in and see how things are running. Shitload of crank valves all around and that someone need to make sense what is an action behind everyone of those.
Nice imagination you got! I somehow see how you describe it. It is a bit chilling but you are actually accurate.
Please take a tour only in Engine Room 😢😢
Thanks for watching! I will do another tour on a new ship fresh from shipyard soon. Subscribe and stay tuned!

It's only you on board? 🤔🤔🤔 I didn't watch the whole video but whether boat was sailing or docked you have not met anyone else on board....where the crew is?
This was filmed on a Sunday. However, even on weekdays, it is true I seldom see my crewmates. The ship is too huge and our shedules also vary.
Great tour!!!

Sir how to join merchant navy ❤
The bow area needs the rust cleaned up
Indeed. That's one of the first places to develop rust because of exposure to sea sprays and salty wind.
I think you looked at the other channel and think about how much money he makes and you want same.
The ship is new i thing it has fabricated recently
It is already around 6 years old. This vessel came out in 2018. The condition is still very good.
Engineroom hatch should be closed at sea
