thank you very much for this. I'm travelling NAN-LAX with FJ in August, and this was really helpful. An aside - when I was (quite a bit) younger I travelled a lot with my kids (although not in business). They are both now grown up, one with two lovely kids of her own, and they are both travellers. And so now are my grandkids. Which I just love.

Hi Lisa, thanks for this very informative video especially about all the features of the 350 900 airplane. I will be flying in business class in March from Sydney to Vancouver, Canada in that plane with 3.5 hour stopover in Nadia.
The only problem I had was the loud engine noise overpowering your soft voice. I just thought I mention that, because I didn't have that problem with other airplane videos.
I am looking forward to my very long flight home.😊

So exciting that you are flying from Sydney all the way to Vancouver on the Fiji Airways A350-900 in business class! It will not feel like such a long trip as you will have the space, luxury and comfort in their beautiful Flagship business class!
The Fiji Airways lounge in Nadi is lovely and very quiet with a decent selection of food and drinks so you will have a nice break while you're in transit there.
(I have another full video review coming out soon of my return flight which includes the business class lounge).
Thanks for you input about the sound. For some airline videos I wear a lapel mic (not so much with the hotel videos), however when I'm travelling with kiddos and filming a review I have limited time so generally bring less equipment with me. (But always appreciate the comments).

Hey Lia! Just watched your video. I'm curious to know how old your daughter was on this flight? How did you go with her been next to you but no direct access? Would it have been better to have one window seat and one next to it on the isle? I'll be going with Fiji airways from melbs to Vancouver via nadi and can't decide which seats we should book! It's going to be a long flight and don't want to pick the wrong seats. Curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks

My daughter was exactly 3 years old when I did this flight.
Since she was 2 years old and had to be in her own seat I have been choosing the middle seats when we are in business class. Even though there is no direct access to each other, I still prefer this option while she is really little as I can see her and she can see me, I can pass things to her like toys, books or her drinks and I have even leaned over slightly to hold her hand on take-off.
As she gets older I will definitely be choosing a window seat and an adjacent seat so we both have aisle access but as most airlines have a staggered style of seating, it means at the moment she would not be able to see me or hold my hand if need be which is more important at this stage.
If your young ones are a bit older, I would be happy to choose business class seats with aisle access.
I hope this information helps you. There is no right or wrong and I have certainly thought a lot about this myself.
She is also going to love the window seat when she's a bit older!

When filming yourself you need to look at the lens not your image on the screen. It’s very off putting for the viewer. I enjoyed the review though.
