  • Connecticut Governor Lamont proposing a ban on the open carrying of firearms by license Connecticut Firearms owners as well as an enhanced gun registry program now focusing on ghost guns regardless of when they were manufactured despite the fact that any manufactured firearm prior to 2019 was legal.
now the governor is going to require that all owners of self manufactured Firearms commonly referred to as ghost guns are now going to have to have a serial number placed on them and registered in Connecticut.
and it gets better limiting on a monthly basis how many handguns you're allowed to own

If you're a Connecticut resident..... I would call them especially the National Rifle Association as you probably know has always been deaf on these issues. Fight for your rights on gun ownership in Connecticut.

News Flash.... National Rifle Association is looking to file a lawsuit in Connecticut on behalf of gun owners. I personally contacted Gun Owners of America 🇺🇸 for help in dealing with this Draconian stupid proposal to ban open carry in Connecticut

For some reason clowns hate open carry. My preferred method of carry oddly. 😆

I understand where you're coming from. There are times I open carry and there are times I conceal carry. I remember one time I was caring openly in a parking lot near a supermarket and I was dealing with some woman who had a big problem with me open caring. And even though in my state it's allowed under law she still wanted to make a big deal about it. And she said she was going to call the police and I told him knock yourself out, and by the way when you call him tell him you're dealing with a retired police officer. Then you should have saw the look on her face. Despite that she still called the cops and the cops came and they knew me because I helped form the Regional Police in that area. Because in the 1990s I sat on the board advocating for the creation of a Regional Police Department. And when the police officers told this woman there was nothing they could do because he was in compliance with the law oh, she just had that dumbfounded look on her face. For me it's a matter of preference depending on the environment.

@@NYRM1974 Oh man. That lady went full Karen on you! I’ve only had positive encounters aside from once at Walmart. Their liberal manager walked up & let me know they didn’t allow open carry in their stores. I fully knew this. I asked him how he felt about concealed carry as I covered my pistol with my t-shirt. That seemed to ease the situation. Many people have asked me 2A related questions over the years. I always encourage them to buy that first firearm or get that concealed carry license they’re considering. Missouri is gun friendly for the most part. With open carry I can carry my FNX-45 Tac everyday. Offering me added capabilities over the average conceal carry pistol. Karen’s will say open carry makes you the first target of a criminal. I say it’ll make them think twice about fucking around in your presence. Open carry whenever you can get away with it I say. 🍻
