Thanks for this information, I was so much in love to being a seaferer that I was scammed a fortune for it when I was younger , took fake course , fake exam got fake certificate. I still heartily desire this , will keep on following you.
This is really insightful, informative and educative You put so much in this sir, thank you! I find it so interesting, maybe later i can fall to the 2nd category, i love travelling, adventures and to come and chop the money too. Thank you Mr Godsgreat!
Good day boss. I’ve done my basic mandatory(stcw, pscrb, security awareness, medicals, i have my discharge booklet also. I’m looking forward to have seatime experience.. any advice on how to proceed.. I’m also an electrical and electronics engineer. Graduated from university last year. And started my mandatory at oron..
12:54 “one year of sea time” is this log book gotten from the vessel you are attached to at this time ? I will also like to know are there known companies or institutions that offer this “one year of sea time” for those that attended a conventional university
For emphasis, the “one year of sea time” is split into six months. So you’ll come to sea twice. As for the log book, it is gotten from the intended maritime school. After which you’ll have to go back to the school that issued the log book to run your nine months program. Lastly, there are several companies that offer cadetship; some you’ll have to pay for a space and some are free.
Thank you for this helpful insight. I just feel at 40 I might not really go through all of these so what can you advise if I really want to come into the Marine industry??
GG been following your channel for a long time I think this video's recently are the best... I'll like to ask if we'll getting a video about mandatory for officer who just finished ND program in maritime school 😅
Thank you very much for your feedback. I will be making more videos like this. The mandatories I mentioned in the other video are common to everyone. I’ll still make a follow video about your enquiries.
You’ll start by getting the basic mandatory trainings and documents. I made a video about that. After which you can apply for a position of either an os on deck or oiler in the engine room.
People that work in the oil rigs and platforms...are they also part of the Maritime industry...and do they aleo need those papers you posted in the othe video?
