- This Windows 10 tutorial shows you how to switch between and snap windows to different corners of your screen. I show keyboard shortcuts on how to do this as well as how to minimize all open Windows at the same time.
Excellent! Your explanation on how to go about this method is spot on, I wanted to compare the playback quality of 2 video files and your instruction really helped. Thank you for taking the time.
Went through so many other video tutorials most of them so difficult to follow and did not work. I came across your video which was so easy to follow and worked. Thank you for making this video.
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching, Sally!
I've just bought an ultrawide monitor, this video was so helpful. Thanks.
oh my goodness, so much easier than other explanations
Glad you think so!
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Mine seems to be hesitant even when I removed the snap feature which was there but it remained split not in only windows but it is split into 4 of the same windows so when I open a program it opens 4 times
I don't know how it happened but someone was using it and they don't remember where they pressed
Finally! A good video explaining how to do this! Thank you! 🙏🏾
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching, Vanessa!
Life Saver!!! time saver actually, I've been switching tabs back and forth wasting time!!! Thank You!!
Nicely done. I knew there had to be an easier way to split a screen. Very well presented. Thank you.
This tutorial helped me out more than you would ever know!! Thanks so much for this!!!!
Finally, a great tutorial without telling to manually sizing the tab to do multi tasking! Thank you so much!
Thank you, I watched so many videos but I still couldn't work it out until this video

Thank you for this video. I didn't realize you could accomplish several of these features. Will definitely subscribe and hope you continue to provide professional content.

Great finally able to understand how easy this is, well done and a very big thank you
Changed my life, it was always hard to get split screen left with mouse b/c of another monitor, Windows Key + Left Arrow is life changing!
Excellent demo and explanation. Concise and informative with an appropriate descriptive title. Well done Sir!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching, JJforArlington.
Fantastic explanation Adam...great video and I can do a lot with multi tasking now. Many thanks.
Yep - very helpful... i did have to change some of my system settings to allow multitasking which you don't mention here. Since i'm now homebound doing "alternate worksite" for the first time in my 64 years, I'm really appreciating folks like you for taking the time to break it down and make it accessible to all
I'm happy this video helped you out, J Trindle. Which settings did you have to change? I appreciate you watching, have a nice day.
@@ProfessorAdamMorgan Hi - and thanks again... i had to go to settings - system - multitasking (way down on the list) and toggle on the Snap Windows button. I also checked the 3 options below the toggle as was suggested in another video. It's been working great!!
That's a feature that is usually on by default. Thank you for sharing the steps in case somebody else has that problem.
Great video, with clear instructions. Thank you.
MAAAAANY thanks professor! Much love from Egypt.
Your information is easy to explain and follow and because of that I can do it. Thank you so much for your help.
this is the best how to video i have ever seen! Thank you!!!!
Thanks a lot. I just bought an Utrawide and this helped me in learning how to snap my windows properly and faster.

I'm glad this video helped you out, Nikki. I appreciate you watching!
😮 I knew ALT + TAB. I did not know WIN + ⬆, etc.
I wanted to know how to use the feature that I thought was only on Windows 11.
Thank you! You're epic!
Great video! Thank you for making my life a little easier.
This was gold, thanks!
Just amazing, man❤️ I learned it,thanks
Thank for your suggestion very easy to follow.
Awesome video! One Improvement would be to add how to do this with the mouse as well. This would be helpful as its more intuitive for some users who are less keyboard shortcut savvy (and those users would have to look down at their keyboard) Drag to snap would be faster for those users.
Thanks for that great tutorial
Thanks for helping me on snapping!
My intro to computer apps teacher was making this way to complicated thank you!
great stuff. thanks for the clear explanation.
This is amazing!!!! Thank you so much!

Thank you. I followed your instructions during the lesson. I now know how to snap screen into 2, 3 or 4. I am so happy Thank you. A not techno Geek!
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching, Mary!
Thanks so much - trying to do it by dragging the window was being a pain and only working occasionally. Windows key + L is all I needed! Update - next time I tried this on my work laptop it kept signing me out... oh well, back to the drawing board. Update 2 - I had mis-remembered and hence did Windows key + L instead of left arrow!! Oh the joys of working life :/
Thank you so much much useful information
Gracias he aprendido mucho con su tutorial.
Good information! Thanks for taking the time to share all this great stuff. It might be a good idea to point out that 'Snap' is enabled, or not, in the Settings!? Took me a while to discover.
Thanks a lot for the video! Now I can be more productive!!
Happy to help! Thank you for watching, Sady!
Very helpful. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching, Camille.
THANK YOU! Finally someone's answered my split screen questions succinctly and completely. Do you know why right clicking on the task tray and choosing "Show Windows Stacked", with two applications open on the desktop does not result in two equally sized stacked windows that take up the whole screen?
Best explanation! Thank you
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching, Charlene!
thank you for this.
You are my hero!
Good explanation! I use my monitor in portrait way. How can I divide the screen in tow, on above the other?
you are the man! stay blessed buddy
Thanks for watching!

Absolutely, I love the snap feature on Windows. Thank you for watching, Zoliman.
Windows 11 makes this even better.
Thank you! You saved my bacon!
Good. Thank you.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. I have been struggling at work using all the different windows I need open. Wil I be able to use these options while sharing my screen remotely like in Zoom or Teams? I know you made this video many years ago but maybe someone might see it and be able to tell me. Thank you again.
Excellent advice! However - I would like to get an answer to another question. I have one desktop with open snaped 4 windows as you show in your presentation. Now I activate a new desktop by Windows key + Tab key. So I have 2 desktops active. And my question is - is it possible to see one of the snapped windows on both desktops at the time?
Windows 11 is about to come out and I'm just now just learning about this
Thank you.
thank you very much
