Im happy that the pokemon dont teleport to a different dimension when in a pokemon battle in pokemon legends arceus, im also happy that it seems like the pokemon actually come in contact when using an attack

It makes sense for the starters to be from other regions. If this is truly a prehistoric undeveloped Sinnoh region, they wouldn’t have established starter Pokémon yet.
I think they mentioned that the starters of the game where from different regions and brought there by the professor of this game .
Not to mention the pokeballs. But then again Magearna is a thing.
Yeah, the professor is an explorer who brought back foreign pokemon that he found in the wild. So, they probably also haven't been domesticated in their home regions for the purpose of being starter pokemon and driven to near extinction in the wild.
Yep and for pokemon legend arceus game I'm wondering how do you catch all the mythical Pokemon because all legendary and mythical Pokemon live in different environments.

@@jakebivvv yes, but for the most part the game is already finished and those 9 months will go towards glitches and bugs, hopefully they fix the god-awful overworld characters

It finally happened, sinnoh remake and a sinnoh history game.
As someone who’s working on completing a living national dex with only Pokémon GO and Pokémon Sword (trying to avoid trading as much as possible), this is very exciting for me.

My thoughts on the remake art style: don’t really like it, but I’m not gonna complain about it, and will enjoy these games as I have every other game like the lifelong fan I am.
You know, you don't have to love everything that you love. Doesn't mean you're a fan you'll support them in any way possible
But oh well, it's your life anyway, just a little advice
@@hairglowingkyle4572 the thing is no one is solely playing pokemon for the graphics. plus with some overworld and battlescreen lighting touchups this art style could look fantastic.
Honestly, the chibi-style kinda ruined it for me. I love D/P though, so if they truly are faithful remakes, then I'm still happy.
And honestly, even my small complaint about the artwork is fixed thanks to the legends game.

Y'know, that Legends game seems lot more interesting than the long awaited Sinnoh remakes. Albeit it is a bit odd that it's a Pokemon remake not done by Game Freak directly?

@@codo8584 Agreed. And by the time this comes out, it'll have been 2 and a half years since SwSh dropped. Considering they gave us HGSS in one year following Platinum, that's ample time to make an amazing game! Gamefreak are great when they aren't lazy, and it looks like they're pulling out all the stops with this one! I wouldn't even care if they delayed it tbh
They definitely offput it to Ilca so they could focus on Legends, this is kind of good because they developed home so it kind of confirms that we can 100% transfer Pokémon from previous games to it but it also scares me because it might just be a shot for shot remake with no new features 😬
I mean it’s a brand new concept for a Pokémon game if it wasn’t more interesting then they failed. I’m still excited for the remakes though, I actually prefer that art style for a remake.
I really love the direction GF is going with these. Going back to the top down style with updated graphics for the D/P remakes and seem to have finally stopped pressing B on game design and let it evolve with Legends. I'm really excited to get both of them!

@@netweed09 The gameplay looks off for a switch game, and it looks like a cheap mobile game. It shouldn't be sold for anything higher than the price of the original games, because apparently they couldn't do what they did for Ruby and Sapphire and make the games look actually appealing.

At first when they revealed the Legends of Arceus i was hoping we'd finally be getting our Pokemon MMO. But the mention of the starters being from other regions hopefully means this game might expand over time. Fingers crossed

Since we finally get a game set in the past, I hope that means we're getting closer to a game set during prehistoric times when the Fossil Pokemon were still alive
See, I feel like SwSh was GF's testing grounds for how they'd approach a switch game.
No wonder it looked unfinished. Still doesn't justify it.
Still, that alone makes it important. Gamefreak admit, they're a bit of a timid company, it harks back to their restrained beginnings and fans should at least appreciate that a little I feel rather than be ruthless.
It was limited though for sure. I was one of the few 'non-haters' who welcomed it but I could see it's shortcomings with the awfully basic towns and routes for a start. But it had strengths. I sorta like the style and the lax, refreshed approach, but Legends just fells the proper Switch game to take the series forward
It actually makes sense that Pokémon legends arceus dosnt have the sinnoh starters since the sinnoh dex didn’t even exist so those Pokémon probably weren’t even considered starters and so you use a Pokémon that are starters from the visiting regions.
Legends has _so_ much potential, I still cannot believe Gamefreak/PkmnCo dropped this.
And look: there are 2 more books in that front pile, linked regions DLC, as if Old Sinnoh huge open-world wasn't enough?

@@chrispoe27 my boy, they have been working hard on 3 different games, 1 of which people have been wanting for a good period of time. Just be happy that they are making it, the first game I ever played was Platinum and I was ecstatic to see they were remaking it. Plus everyone wanted an open world Pokemon game, and look at what they’re making. Maybe stop complaining and just enjoy what they’ve given us, because I think they did good, but everyone’s entitled to their own opinions.

I’m so shocked by Legends; maybe I’m out of touch but I had no idea it was coming. For it to look like that and still have a year to go in development is really exciting.

I really hope that the remakes have new stuff like being able to use all the mons in the new game or new features. If not its just gonna be a 1 to 1 copy of the game which isn't gonna be worth 60 bucks

@@Bennieboy918 HG/SS added content while being a remake, we got the Suicune story, the pokethlon, sinjoh ruins, the rze legendaries in postgame, following pokémon. FR/LG the sevii islands, ORAS included the megas, hopefully the Sinnoh remakes will keep everything and add on top.... but seeing the track record I wouldn't be surprised they skip Platinum BF,and the Darkrai, Shaymin events

@benjamin tsoi maybe because the graphics look a lot better and maybe they can tweak some stuff and add other things.
I hope they take more from platinum them the first to games because platinum fixed the problems the first too games had like giving up more than two fire types and speedup surfing and other things and more story events I hope they can mix the events of diamond and pearl with platinums events.
There are images going around of the NPC exclusive to Platinum that gives you the Gracidea for Shaymin in the trailer for the remakes. Combined with the fact that there would be Sinnoh Pokémon unobtainable if it was entirely 1:1 to Diamond/Pearl, it’s almost certain Platinum content will be included to some degree like HeartGold/SoulSilver included Crystal stuff.

After seeing legends of arceus the "sinnoh remakes" everyone was hyped for look pretty lame and forgettable. Legends of arceus though looks insane however.

If you look at the character style from XY to ORAS and then to SM, it looks like the overworld characters hit a growth spurt.

Ehh most would disagree. I just hope it’s not a exact copy of the originals and there’s some added content . I doubt it though how do you go from making all your remakes a step forward except this one .?

Pokemon Legends Arceus brought back some of the old Safari Zone Mechanics from Gen 1.
I've been wanting a Pokémon action style game in the past for a long time, so I'm more hype for Legends Arceus than the remakes. I'm sad that they feel they need to stick with Poké Balls for the remake, because catching Pokémon is less interesting than story and character interaction; I'd have preferred taming or something else, with not a focus on "catch them all!"... but its still cool that they're trying this style of gameplay, and in the past, no less. I don't think it'll be quite the "BotW Pokémon game" everyone's hoping for yet, but I do think its a major several steps in the right direction.
and the fact that the games are spread across multiple studios is nice, cause it means they can hopefully get better games in the same amount of time.
I definitely understand your point of view, and I agree, but the games are still under development. I think that they were trying to show as little gameplay as possible tho. They didn't wanna spoil anything, so I think there will be more gameplay then just catching Pokémon, but that's just my prediction.
@@mynameisirrelevant7000 I gotta say tho, I vastly prefer the way the Zelda franchise has been handling stuff: “don’t show even trailers until things look incredibly polished and amazing, no detail out of place”. I’d much rather prefer waiting years longer for a more polished game than... “oh now you can play it today! Wow!”

While we got the remakes we asked for amd more, i feel like this celebration is kinda underwhelming compared to the 20th. We got Origins.
POKEMON BREATH OF THE WILD Y'ALL! And the Chibi art looks SO CUTE! I love it. And the feels from the opening.....So many memories I've made from being a Pokemon fan....I've made so many friends through Pokemon and for that it'll always have a place in my heart for it. I LITERALLY cannot even. I can't even. I am unable to even. I have lost my ability to even. I am so unable to even.
I hope Cynthia gets an incredibly OP buff, omg that would be a challenge. I feel like a kid again watching this.
