The British Gold £5 Coin was made from an alloy of 91.67% gold + 8.33% copper, has a diameter of 36.02 mm, gross weight of 39.94 grams and a pure gold content of 36.61 grams = 1.1771 troy oz. The Mexican Gold 50 Pesos Coin was made from an alloy of 90% gold + 10% copper, has a diameter of 37 mm, gross weight of 41.67 grams and a pure gold content of 37.5 grams = 1.2057 troy oz.

If you convert the rate of exchange of the US dollar to a 50 Mexican peso it's approximately $2.45. (Deep breath) This means that you can acquire a whole 1.2oz of gold compared to the .1215oz. of gold content in an overpriced pre-33 US$2.50 gold coin. What I've learned throughout my stacking journey is that the Fed-backed US governMINT is no friend of mine ✌️👍💨

But I am curious which would be a better stackable coin (even if for a short time) the 5 peso or the 10 peso? I see there is only a slight difference in weight and purity. (one is .24 and .900 pure, one is .23 and .910 pure but some what of a large price difference (even from the same dealer) Thanks brother!
