@Captain Twice While Alfred can certainly be witty, he is also fiercely loyal and comes through in more...serious situations. Niles is actually NOT very loyal - he repeats Max's and Fran's confidences, and actually turns on Fran in a few episodes, ranting about Max's favoring Fran over him. Sit-coms have a tendency to be inconsistent about how characters feel, and The Nanny was actually better than most, which makes it even weirder when Niles turns on Fran for just a few episodes. But you feel like he and CC could have been friends (or more) all along and "playing" Max and Fran, while laughing at them behind the scenes.
At this point, if Niles suddenly turned out to be basically Alfred with secret martial arts skills and a dark past I would not be surprised because he’s truly that awesome.
I have never seen a series with so little Characters in and still they kept people entertained for Such a long time. The writers were just magnificent. The scene in the back without Maxwell noticing is still one of my many many favourites. I do have Favorites in each Single Episode though 1:10: beware the Butler... Reminds me of The Episode where Fran thought Niles Was a killer
In which episode was Niles guessing about "the thing" and said - standing next to Mr. Sheffield "Maybe you said you loved her and then took it back. - No, even you would not be that stupid."
Max: well I mine as well tell you..." Phone rings Niles: *aggressively yanks out phone wire* Also Niles: *gently puts wire on desk* we'll get back to them
this is legit one of the funniest scenes in the entire show and shef was beyond deserving of every single time fran dragged him for taking back the thing during this season.
It seems like it hurts Fran more than if he had gone to season 5 without EVER uttering those words. And the way he takes it back is weird - almost as if he's saying "I didn't mean to say it" without actually saying "it wasn't / isn't true." So he leaves her dangling. And I think part of the point of referring to it as "the thing" is, it's Max's way of referring to it without saying the actual words again.
Did anyone else notice, Fran never says it back to him, in EITHER episode where he says it - and she would have had time before he took it back. I can sort of understand why he might have doubts that Fran really feels the same way (sometimes she acts more excited about being married, or his being rich, them him as a person). And there are also things about Fran that I think are good reasons for him to hesitate.
@@jessicalillianweinberg4401 I sort of disagree. She could have married other guys who were rich. She wanted to be with him. I don't think you really paid attention to her character.
Niles: Top contender for Best Baddass Butler of the 90s
Johnjames Bloom he is simply one hell of a butler.
have you met Geoffrey from the fresh prince
Julio Mora Rodriguez I always wondered what it would be like if Geoffrey and Niles met

Definetely!
"What's so great about you?" 😂😂😂😂😂 I love Niles.
Fhlwhf
DrpogbN
“I mean what’s so great is your ability to”
“Oh shut up Niles”
"Well, it's very difficult to say, sir, considering the fact that I don't know WHAT THE BLOODY THING IS!!!!"
Been there, Niles, been there.
A funny moment is he actually guesses it...but then addresses "No, you won't be that stupid."
How does C.C manage to always look so gorgeous and stunning even from far far away? Niles you are one lucky bloke.
Honestly, she is my inspiration
That scream at the end was so sincere 😂😂

1:34 The way Niles trashes C.C. back and forth like a rag doll always gets me. 🤣🤣🤣
I'm tell you Niles is going to go completely insane if he doesn't find out what "The Thing" is
It's *classic* when he does! I just love Niles.
ua-cam.com/video/cnCCtPsTLkY/v-deo.html
He does find out later. 😝
I don't care how many times I watched this....it makes me crack up every freakin time!! Niles is the best!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@qlitchd and he still went insane 😂
Niles and cc at each other's throats while mr Sheffield isn't looking 😂
TheNw1218
And sometimes when he is looking 😆
(Yes, I know I'm replying to a two year old comment).
Lol. This was comedy gold. I was dying of laughter over here! I love how Cece doesn’t get offended by these things, she just dives right in. 😂😂😂
Literally!!!
Whoever did casting for this show was a genius!!! Oh, and not to forget the writers!!
The writers did a fantastic job on this!!!!😊👍👍👍💕💕💕💕💕

silverrubygirl season 4 episode 4!!!! I finally found it HAHAH it’s towards the end
Thank you 😊😊😊
I thought that's what this was
Niles is so funny. The fact that he was doing scene without dialogue. Omg. I can't 😂😂😂😂
"the number you are trying to reach has been disconnected."
We’ll get back to them.
Due to pressing matters that can not be discussed...
Quite literally

That one scream I make when I found out I missed my favorite show
Max: well I mine as well tell you..."
Phone rings
Niles: *aggressively yanks out phone wire*
Also Niles: *gently puts wire on desk* we'll get back to them
Niles about to hit C.C with the chair is the best part
that I don't know what THE BLOODY THING IS!!
I just love The Nanny watch over and over and over.....
I need to rebinge this show sometime.
dudebladeX I think it's on Netflix

I would never have watched The Nanny if it wasn't for Niles.
Lauro Andrea Fran was great, but she is the cherry on top of the sundae. Niles was the sauce, the almonds, and the extra scoop.
The show wouldn’t be the same without Niles and CC.
The scream at the end was the best🤩😂
Niles: 💯,stole the show everytime 🤩👍🏻
Never has there been a more iconic "Thing" except maybe "Thing" from Addams Family.
Trying to swallow my laughter in class and am failing miserably.
Niles: "Well, it's very difficult to say, Sir, considering the fact that I don't know WHAT THE BLOODY THING IS!"
When he lifted the chair at cc 😂😂😂😂
1:54 Well said Niles
I thought Mr. Sheffield was rude to take back the thing, but I guess he really only said it because he thought they were going to die

So funny seeing Niles and cc fighting.
Best scene ever 😂👌🏽
ICONIC
it's an amazing scene, I am dying!
LMFAO NILES WASN'T FUCKING AROUND. He probably would have piledrived CC if she got in the way.
Who else thinks that Niles should’ve gotten his own spinoff?
THE THING😂😂
Well it’s very definitely to say Sir, consuming the fact I don’t know what the bloody thing is!
Niles and Alfred are practically tied for the best butler characters of all time.
Don’t forget Geoffrey.
Bedankt voor de ondertitels haha

Epic!
Niles is the best!! 😂
I would like to see the full episodes.
