@dgfof3 you must be playing in Goku's DU mode, and have defeated Kid Buu using the Super Spirit Bomb,After the battle with Buu, search the islands east of the World Martial Arts Tournament. You should find a ??? mark on one of the islands, which will initiate an odd scene with Goku and give you Goku's SSJ4 Capsule. hope i helped :)
I'm pretty sure you only need to use the spirit bomb in the fight for it to work, if I remember correctly I was having a bit of trouble using it as a killing blow on very hard for a first play through so I used it then killed Kid Buu rather normally and I still got the Uub fight.
It's been awhile but I think you unlock it by beating Dragon universe with all possible characters. It's really just to help you level up. You choose your character, skills and then your opponet, but not as usual, there's a list of each character from level 1-99. This mode is also needed to unlock Cell Jr and Saibaman.
@bkvalumeal Freeza, bardock, and cells Ultimate's can only be obtained by purchasing them in the skill shop. The problem with that is, Ultimate's appear in a very specific order, so you have to buy them as they show up. Assuming you have all characters unlocked Freeza's Ultimate would be the 17th to show up, followed by cell at number 20, then bardock at number 25.
@FrankyRivers1000 In Gohan's story Fly around before you fight Videl(you can unlock Goten by going to Grandpa Gohan's house here too).eventually you'll run into Yajirobe. after the cutscene ends, you'll unlock her
they did make this game for ps3.. the dbz budokai hd collection was announced today.. it has budokai 1 and 3 and it will come out on october 9th on ps3 and xbox.

@Tomkutaitis I have played all in the Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi series, i've played Raging Blast 2 and none of them felt nearly as enjoyable as Budokai 3. I know that aren't all of the games but it is quite a lot.
i remember this was the best game ever i played for 2 years and i got all the Characters i wish i have seen this video then it wouldn't have taken me so long to finish it :p
Well you unlock Uub by killing Kid Buu with a Super Spirit Bomb, then the DU will continue and you have to fight Uub in the world tournament, be sure to beat him and you will unlock him. Hope it helps!
@Amerkiller1 I have Dragon Arena unlocked...I play it but it does not work..supposely I have to have a 10-20 LvL character and when Nappa breaks in you beat him and unlock Saibamen...for Cell Jr is supposedly a LvL 30-40 character when Piccolo breaks in you beat him and then Cell Jr. is unlocked... so apparently I do not need no stories to complete in DU because I already played them with all the characters :)
im not getting the bulma scene i do everything right and i dont get the bulma scene. when i beat gotenks it just ends the story and i dont get the omega shenron scene
@carzyday321 after you've completed all DUs you unlock Dragon arena , play in there until someone brokes in , if it's piccolo you unlock cell jr. if it's nappa you unlock saibaman.

@Venom1843 buy at the capsule shop when you have black membership card, but its a pain in the ass to get since its very rare for it appear but be patient and eventually you'll find it for 30,000 zeni i believe
to unlock saibaman,you must fight in dragon arena as you control kid gohan at lv.21 vs videl at lv.32...if you do that right,the game will said that is game is corrupted or something like that and will fight Nappa,beat him and saiba will be yours ;D hope it helps

when you fight with kid buu, do not ever turn into super saiyan mode, the farthest you change kaio-ken mode only, and after the defeat kid buu with a super spirit bomb
You need to unlock Dragon Arena by completing all Dragon Universe characters and unlocking breakthrough on all of them by using Shenron to give you the breakthrough capsule

Cell jr. He is in the game yo unlock him in Dragon Arena. If you get an out breaking piccolo win that battle then you got him. I got him in my dbz Budokai 3 for ps2 but in HD collection dont have it
yeah but instead of fighting him straight away go to the space ship next to the red dot it will come up with ??? go there and it will say you have unlocked coolers space ship, now play as cooler in what ever mode you can and put coolers spaceship in his skills when you fight let his health drop to the orange bar and the skill activate an whamo you have meta cooler . its the same thing for frieza
@speedy1065 are you sure u used super spirit bomb?? it wasnt regular spirit bomb?? ( super spirit bomb goku turns into Super Saiyan at the end) and if that didn't work try the Dragon Universe with Goku again and defeat Kid Buu with Super Spirit Bomb okay :)

Goku's Dragon Universe 2nd Now, reach the Majin Buu Saga. Here's what you do: Before the battle with Kid Buu, you have to adjust you skill tray. YOU MUST HAVE THESE THREE IN ORDER FOR IT TO WORK: Kaioken, Super Saiyan, and Spirit Bomb. use kaioken and don't go ss Wail until Kid Buu's energy is in the "yellow", and then do the spirit bomb. If all is done correctly, Goku will transform into a Super Saiyan and finish off Kid Buu. After this battle, go to the red dot.
