Just finished this book the other day... I feel like one of the reasons Jesper was always pining for Kaz's trust is that he had feelings for Kaz... He and Inej also had that convo about they were following Kaz because they were hoping for some honey hoping not to get stung. But then he met Wylan... and truly fell ❤

I just finished six of crows two days ago and it is 100% one of my favorite books! I'm going to start crooked kingdom later and i'm very excited. Honestly i think the throne of glass series was my favorite books of all time, but six of crows comes second i swear i loved that book so much.

I am so glad that you experienced this book! I read this duology in Russian translation and it actually came out for us before Shadow and Bone. So I was already sold on Bardugo and was a bit disappointed with grysha books. Nevertheless, Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom are equally amazing!
I can’t get over how they’re both written by the same author! They both have such a different vibe!
@@kevinkelly_ I was relieved to find out that Six of Crows was part of the second series. It seemed that Bardugo used up all cliches and annoying characters in the first trilogy and had nothing left for the new one. I am all here for the author's growth! But I am a bit hesitant to start King of Scars, cause after SoC the plank is too high!

A book idea that omg loved this book but it was a challenge to read. It is called sicko by amo Jones. It is really good, but their is a trigger warning, but so worth it

i read this duology like 4-5 months ago during a reading slump, that was one of the worst mistakes i made , i loved them but i feel like i could've enjoyed them more if i would've been in a mood for reading , all this videos about it are making me want to reread it :')
Ye I’ve had similar experiences before when I read a book during a slump. It ruins your experience 😭 maybe if you do decide to reread it, you’ll enjoy it more 🙊

For real, Leigh Bardugo is a wizard with perfectly complimentary romantic couples. It gets 1000 times more juicy in Crooked Kingdom. Strap in!

If you plan on reading her short stories (language of thorns and The lives of saints) make sure to read The lives of saints last as there are soo many easter eggs in there and will only make sense if u read the other 6 books first

Also I'm glad you decided to pick SOC even though you said you would never read it. And we should remember Chloe who said that you probably wouldn't like SOC when you two were doing that book/friendship tag/challenge. Boy was she wrong 😂
Did you like the book??? TBH though, I usually don’t like character driven stories, so I think Chloe was right to assume I wouldn’t like it 🙊 But gladly that wasn’t the case and I LOVED IT!
