This was such a great zen project I made two, one just like your painting and another in teal and green and blue. It came out great

I have looked and looked to see something my son would love. I have been painting a picture for each son, daughter-in-law and grandchild this year (basically my first year of painting). My son's birthday is in one month and it might take me that long to do this, lol, but I think it fits him and he will really love it. You just have so many styles and techniques that I have found it easy to please each one and I have been able to accomplish each thing I tackled. They have loved them and I am mostly pleased with my results. There aren't enough words to describe your ability and your skill as an instructor that allows you to communicate that ability in a way that makes each person a better painter.
apparently I had too many words for it all to appear. I meant to say I am mostly happy with the results, but I definitely have room to grow. Thank you for your thoughtful teaching method. I love the way you explain color choices and layers among other things. Your skill in artistry is wonderful and your ability to help me understand how to do it is so great!!

I love watching your tutorials ... but I really loved this one as you shared so much about reflection values of colors shadowing and I could go on.. I recently had to retire early due to the effects of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis. I was a registered nurse and so enjoyed my career.. long story short - I have collected so much paint and nice brushes to really get into my dream of painting artwork and now I notice I can’t hold the brush still when working on tedious areas.. no pity requested but could you send pray or send wishes for 62 yr old “Marmie” who wants desperately to steady her hands for her dream goal of being able to render artwork to leave her 9 grandchildren 😳💕. Sending you positive thoughts and kudos for your talent - and you are so sweet the way you talk to the audience coaxing them in the tutorials...

My Nephew took his life on the 11th September, he was 34. Since his death I painted once and can not find that desire anymore. I am going to give this one a go and I am hoping that this is the one that brings me back from despair of loss...Thank you Cinnamon your heart is so big.

I've been where your at. Don't give up. It isn't always easy, but is worth it. It took me a long time to pick up my brushes again after my mother killed herself. I was 18 and ended up raising my siblings. I am so thankful to be arting again. I have one painting I did that reminds me of her. It was my break through and i have been painting ever since. Now my family fight over my stuff.
His journey is not yet complete as yours is not complete. Take heart that he knows you loved him and take the image of that love forward. Know too that you'll meet again. My thoughts, prayers, and meditations are with you,
I don't usually comment, but you touched my heart. I have suffered loss of life as well. Give yourself time to grieve, however long it takes, it's different for each person. It may come slowly, but gradually you will paint again. Painting is a therapy in itself, which you know. Be well and give yourself time to heal....

I heard you say you save your "empty" tubes of paint for other projects. I do that too, but I use little bottles of flow paint, not tubes. And when I can't get much more out, I add a tiny bit of distilled water, shake well, and label the top WASH and I use it for washes. It has been so handy to have these. I've got white, burnt umber, black, and granite grey washes and I find I use them frequently!
You have the golden snitch as a necklace from Harry Potter!! This painting was amazing and was really realistic also. Great job and I hope I can paint this one day! You have lots of talent! ❤️❤️

I love just putting the channel on, even just in the background, it's very peaceful and fun to listen to. My first Sherpa painting was the Van Gogh sunflower, but she has lots of beginner ones to start if you decide to try. 😊
I lost my precious baby on March 28th, 2018 (a few days ago) I've never been more sad and more lost in my life. I've painted before but I feel like I paint... better because it happened. It makes me feel a little better. Like he's helping me. I don't know. I've never had anyone I love die before, and it's harder because we were extremely close. I will miss him always

Lovely painting ,so peaceful. I learned so much from this lesson it's very detailed and will take me some time to go through. Having ME I'm limited by pain and exhaustion as to how much I can do at a time, but there is so much to learn from this one and painting the greens will be so restful I'm looking forward to attempting it.
