I smile when I think of a parallel world where Siskel & Ebert are still with us, discussing the latest movies, streaming, blu ray and many other issues connected to film and wider society.
Even though Gene started deteriorating in health, his wit & passion never seemed to waiver.
I miss both of them
Thanks for uploading these!
I enjoy WILD THINGS, the sex suspense twisted plot, romance, violence & comedy were intrigued all together because U can't tell who's good or bad, The cast are wonderful including fresh face Daphne Rubin-vega who won award for best supporting actress, it's very smart thriller. 👍🌟🌟🌟
Mr. Nice guy is fun movie with great stunts comic timing & fight scenes by Jackie Chan including switching guns. 👍🌟🌟🌟
I agree. It's a good, trashy movie.
I love wild things.
@@reneedennis2011 And yet, it rises above the level of a guilty pleasure.
@@fromthehaven94 Yup!
Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert 😍
Sad that this the only M.Night Shyamalan that Siskel saw and liked as he died seven months after Shyamalan next movie which is great.
I've seen Fireworks. It's a good movie. Very unusual.
Directed and starring Takeshi of Takeshi's Castle. A cult following.
Mr nice guy is definitely one of the most awesome fun Jackie Chan movies, also really underrated
Of course is underrated. It should be underwater, is one of the worst things the actor did. And I have watched a lot of his movies, a lot, but this...no, no, no
I think Jackie Chan hitmen were in the set that day, it's the only way I can believe Ebert gave a "thumbs up" to the horrible "Mr. Nice Guy". Thank God Siskel was more courageous
The difference between 1997 and 1998 is so sad to see.
14:33 "Is there a God?"
"WHAT?... I'll answer that on next week's show..."
Denise Richards was 26 playing a high schooler still younger than the 90210 "teens"
all the Screamers were 26
This Jackie Chan movie have the going-through-the-shopping cart gate trick?
Mr Nice Guy is tremendous, very underrated. Glad to see it get positive remarks. Chan's performances are nothing short of brilliant, and im not just talking about the fight scenes when i say that. I "get" Siskels reasoning for giving it a thumbs down, and kinda felt the same way. It def woulda been nice if he had some stronger narratives, but Mr Nice Guy is fun enough in spite of the fairly run of the mill/generic plotting.
I can’t imagine them liking any movies from this era 😝
"Wide Awake" is an M. Night Shyamalan movie. Not kidding.
Matt Dillon was a better actor then Robbie Benson😐
I totally agree with Gene on Mr. Nice guy lol I remember being disappointed by it.
