Are there quite a few new drum majors joining the Guards division from this year then?
Steve Stait is the only original isn’t he?
there are new ones but Damian Thomas is taking up the role of Senior DM and steve staite is about to retire june this year after the troop. There is also a new GG Drum Major his name is Harry Sutton.

I notice the bands don't play on a certain part of the route lately....do you know why? little friend plus his cuppa back in action.
The band remains silent until it has passed the church where Sunday services are in progress.
2:49 What happened there did the drum major cut of the music? Or do they start playing a march down sheet street? I’m confused.
They stop the music while they pass the church due to the Sunday service. They begin playing again once they pass.
