I had a flight from Toronto to Tokyo yesterday, and I watched “Big Brother Canada 5 in 4 hours” on UA-cam. How perfect that Kevin is here now that I watched that! Loved hearing Kevin’s opinions, and great job as always Sharon.
KEVIN ROBERT MARTIN!!! (I still hear Karen's voice) I love this guy. Makes any show he's on so much more fun to watch. (And he's a very hard-working dedicated poker God, as well!) Big fan (can you tell? LoL)
Can you IMAGINE if they would have cast Karen on the season with him? I would have died! Missed opportunity!
HUGE missed opportunity not casting Karen with him! @@beardedqueen I loved BBCAN5 and I found it interesting that he decided to focus on emotional growth after that. I thought he was just good at suppressing his emotions. I loved that even when Karen was coming at him, he never got personal.
I'm so happy you got Kevin on the show! I am also loving him on Traitors Canada! I'm a little bummed to know he was in South Korea where I live and I didn't know about it😆😆😅

@@sunshinehwy Survivor and Big Brother both have gone a little willy nilly with their twists these past several years. Each year used to have a specific theme or twist for both Survivor and Big Brother. Now both loosely defined so producers can do whatever they want, whenever they want to, in an attempt to save manipulate the game.

Great interview, Sharon! Thanks for your openness, Kevin. Interesting... I wondered why Kevin wasn’t made a traitor - seemed like the obvious choice for good tv (and yes, we want good tv!). Sounds like Production wanted that, too but because he’s an obvious choice, it would’ve painted an instant target. I figured he’d have a big target anyway with this cast, however, so might as well leverage his villainous (or rather, self-interested) side while they have him on our screens.
That said, very happy to hear he went on for more personal reasons and achieved what he set out to do. I think we’re all getting a little tired of contestants on these shows that we love who only care about followers and whatever the next opportunity is going to be (rather than being present and playing the game they’re in now to win). I mean, it doesn’t have to be such an honourable motivation - just play for the money, that’s fine too - but PLAY. No more “I played with honesty & integrity”, please for the love of all reality competition shows’ sakes 🙏
I dont if youre going to ready this but kevin said in an Interview that he didnt want to be a traitor. I guess he wanted to focus on the social game without having to come from a manipulative place

Won't happen... she already refused Sharon's BB6 reunion. She's been private for almost 20 years.
She likely won’t come back for one specific reason, which is something very messed up she admitted to doing on the live feeds.
Obviously video capture wasn’t commonplace like it is now in 2006, so we don’t have receipts of everything, but there are live updates from blogs and testimonies online of people who witnessed the conversation. I’m sure you can find out what I’m talking about if you dig some, but I don’t feel like I should be saying the story here.

Why is he looking down the entire time? Or looks like he’s closing his eyes? It’s super weird! Especially compared to the beautiful Sharon who’s looking straight ahead.
