Photography at Sneaker Box with Amber 800T and HP5 Plus

Hi, welcome to my UA-cam channel, where I share my passion for film photography and explore different film stocks and cameras. In this video, I’m going to show you some photos I took at the Sneaker Box event in Bristol UK, using my Voigtlander Bessa R2 camera and two different films: Amber 800T and HP5 Plus.
Sneaker Box is an event for sneaker lovers, where you can find rare and discontinued kicks, as well as accessories and streetwear from various traders and independent brands. It’s a great place to see some amazing sneakers and meet other people who share the same interest.
Amber 800T is a motion picture film that gives distinct colours and looks when used in different lighting conditions. It’s good for low-light situations and becomes a cool blue tone if shot in daylight. It can be processed in standard C-41 colour chemistry. This film is 36 exposures and not DX-coded, but it comes with a DX sticker if you’re using an automatic camera.
HP5 Plus is a high speed black and white film with fine grain and medium contrast. It’s a great option for journalism, documentary, travel, sports, action and indoor available light photography. HP5 Plus produces negatives of outstanding sharpness and fine grain under all lighting conditions. It has a wide exposure range and can be pushed or pulled up to several stops. It can be processed in a wide range of different developers using spiral tanks, deep tanks or automatic processors.

A leap back into photography after a few years out, this time with a difference
Before I lost my passion it was all about the mega pixels and sensor size, and I became all consumed with getting "the shot", instead of enjoying the location, the walk, the company, this time however its different, its about the adventure and going back to the beginning, relearning film in 35mm, 120mm medium format and 4x5 large format.

Nice photos. Liked them a lot. Hope you enjoy your visit to the US. YOu might even manage to get some film at reasonable prices over there. I have just about given up on film over here. Film prices just keep on going up and up and up for no reason.

It was amazing thanks Lensman, so many rolls to get through, but loving the first load of rolls I have developed 👍 can’t wait to get the images and videos out 👍 unfortunately film is still expensive out there, had to buy some more Portra and Delta and it was so expensive, I don’t know how street photographers do it, going through some many rolls each time they go out and with such a low hit rate, it’s an expensive sport
