Love that a guy like Bill Miller, one of the most respected investors in the past 30 years, pulls out a Bitcoin hat for his "1 investment moving forward". What an absolute Chad. LFG.
@@freeroamer9146 Sadly, you just told me how much you don't know about investment. Please do not equate investment to gambling.......if you are trying to sell people bitcoins then say so, but do not show people your level of ignorance....
Microsoft and salesforce make 0 sense for comprables. Scary that supposedly one of the great investors deems it relevant, a component of Microsoft (azure) is twisted, but salesforce is not at all.
Sounds rather naive to think one has to have a PhD (and in philosophy no less) to know how to think. There is a thing called "wisdom". There is no college or university that teaches it. It comes by way of a sound mind, also known as peace. I wish you well!
@@freeroamer9146 You sounds like someone who could use the education. My comment said that the PhD is sufficient condition (or close to it) for ensuring that he has good critical thinking skills, not that's a necessary condition. You're making a comment about it being a necessary condition.
Bitcoin is such a clown investment strategy/advice to give. I may start having to turn to other financial analysis sources. If next week is entirely about bitcoin, I'll just pass on that entirely.
This was epic! Kudos to Bill for being so candid about his holdings!
This gentleman is one of the greatest minds i’ve seen. Thanks for this interview.
Bill is always head of the game and he’s a great thinker.
In all his rare interviews/podcast, Bill has always been right on the money and never uses “Horoscope language ”

A good listen. I would love to see Bill on the Capital Employed podcast going really deep into some of his top positions.
This is such a cool channel I think it’s a sign I’m getting older
Bill is an absolute legend and I am a huge fan. That said, I wouldn’t touch Splunk with a 9 ft pole :)
Excellent interview
LG! Bill Miller love this fella
By now Vroom fell another 90%. Just crazy
VRM baby!
Bill is great.
I guess he just understands things 3-6-9 months ahead of the market.
The downside is, that he enters positions way to early ^^
👍👍
Great Interview! Thank you:)
Waiting for part2
Thanks
I'd like to hear his opinion on TSLA.
He has been asked in the past he has a hard time valuing it
Where’s part 2?!
the 50% in the middle are down and to the side, the 25% below that are in bear plus territory
Great interview! Thanks
"since the financial crisis people are risk phobic, people overestimate perceived risk"....a fear statement to ponder
yes, I noted that too and also - the central tendency of value.
So ADT is out?

The man is willing to put1% of his money into bitcoins and if he lost so what, he acknowledged. Is that investment or gambling?
Good observation. You can make the same argument for a gamble on an index fund, etf, or any individual stock!

Bill doesn't give a hoot about how you label his Bitcoin purchase ;)
@@BradKaellner Right back at you....
His allocation is not 1%. Bitcoin is his largest position in his personal portfolio.
He is probably the oldest value investor that's into Bitcoin.
Fact but because he works with his son.
He has so much money and is now playing craps with a portion of it...
There's over 1.2m individual investors in bitcoin. You are only one! 😐
@@freeroamer9146 How many people visit Las Vegas and Macau daily, weekly, monthly and yearly?
I will rather gamble with vroom, vsplunk and uber.

One of the best interviews, thanks for sharing
Give me a powerful magnet and we'll see just how durable bitcoin is.
What bout lucid!! Buy it
I'm shocked to hear him say that this market is not expensive.
A market of stocks not a stock market theory

I always enjoy hearing his thoughts but I wish he would lose some weight
That's a strange "wish". Get to know yourself!
Would that make him give a better analysis?
@@SurLaMer_ Being fit is better for the mind too, no?
Get a life.
Miller has a PhD in philosophy from a top analytical philosophy department. He knows how to think.

One does not need any education or degree, or wisdom to have fun with money.......and gambling is one of them...

It looks like a very few Super Mega Caps are paying for all the mistakes in the portfolio. Enjoy while this lasts....
Oh man, and this end with that Bitcoin hat, a value investor, shaking my head, he will get a rude awakening next year.

Or stole it! Miller beat the S&P 15 consecutive years among other things, long before bitcoin was a "thing"!
