- All of Sailor Moon's standard attacks from the original anime.
Had to edit "Moon Princess Halation" a few times due to VIZ blocking it in the the US.
Just having fun making Sailor Moon compilation videos lately. Hope you enjoy.
Moon Gorgeous Meditation was just on another level. It was snappy, less dancing and more camera work, the poses and the music were great... it's the most badass that Sailormoon has ever been.
But Moon Tiara Action has to be the most charming of them all. Like it has a certain stardust that the rest don't have.
The sound effects when Rainbow Moon Heart Ache & Moon Spiral Heart Attack hit the final pose at the same time is elite!!!!
This is where the villain is given an opportunity to run for their lives. But for some reason they choose to watch Sailor Moon do her poses until she is finished and do her attack.
I always imagined with the transformation and attacks that they do them in a split second, and it's slowed down for the show.
My thoughts are that the villain might be hypnotized in some trance when she performs the sequence leading up to the attack which explains why they don't flee for cover.

@@CincyRaz that is the case as several times in the movies they fire off attacks instantaneously without all the powering up we see
And in the Manga it's instant as well
Same with the transformations they are near instant but we see it slowed down
Honestly they take long in the show so as to fill out the time required of a weekly episode kinda thing

4:15 The transition from "stage out" to Starlight Honeymoon was so good!
But Moon Gorgeous Meditation will always be my favorite! The music, flow of animation, the split/triple screens, the intensity of Sailor Moon's aura/face, the colors! Perfection!

Great video. Truly shows the evolution and the budget different of each attack and the style of the series so much. You can see little Usagi carrying herself more and more like a queen as times goes by :').

Her Moon Spiral Heart Attack would always be like the strongest, imagine being crushed by a Giant Heart. The pain is too much to handle.
But the other attacks are all good as well. Moon Tiara Action music is my favorite.
Yeah, well tbh I fell like moon gorgeous meditation is the most violent (in my opinion) because imagine someone points a magical rod at you that shoots glass- but with anime logic I agree with u

My favorite Sailor Moon attack will have to Moon gorgeous meditation.
They hit the peak with Rainbow Moon Heart Ache, somehow managed to barely top it with Moon Gorgeous Meditation, and then realized there's no way to go from there so they just gave up with Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss and Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss. LOL
Moon Gorgeous Meditation is hard to beat. It's my favorite.
There are a few attacks missing:
1) moon tiara stardust
2) mon healing escalation with legendary silver crystal
3) moon gorgeous meditation with Chibiusa (from super S movie)
4) and one of my favourites - moon tiara action performed with pizza from Sailor Stars
You are correct, in order to fit them all on one screen some cuts had to be made...but I agree with you that moon pizza action is one of the best and I almost put it in here as a joke. Now I wish I had!

Moon gorgeous Meditation with Chibiusa is not stock footage. But the first version of Moon Gorgeous mediation is also missing and is one :)

It didn’t seem like they had a low budget back then for stars, I imagine the gorgeously animated feathers took tons of labour and time. How did they end up giving the most uncreative boring make up and attack sequences that season (and from this video I realised it’s even longer than all other attacks)? Which was the finale and it was meant to be the best.
Stars had the most boring attacks and transformation. They should have gone all out! 😇
Wdym by that? Sailor Stars transformations were pretty good and Sailor Moon's attacks weren't bad either

多分おもちゃにした時の音声と整合性持たせるためだと思うけど、ミスマッチ感は否めませんね(^^;)

I never thought of this before but the super form for sailor moon was so unstable. The chalice was limited time use, and when she used Pegasus energy she could attack without mini-moon. What happened there?!

Imagine a different version of the Galaxia fight where sailor moon uses all of her different attacks in sequence. As a metaphor for how she has to keep using stronger moves just to defend herself, but also as an homage to the series as a whole.

This wasn't all the attacks. You didn't have Moon Healing Escalation with the crystal so... 🤷🏽♀️
I didn't include any Crystal attacks. Those were usually individually animated and don't really fit with the stock animation style the original used.
@@CincyRaz not Crystal as in the anime, the Silver Crystal that she attached to the Crescent Moon Wand. It was similar but a separate attack to what you showed.

I love Rainbow Moon Heartache, but the pose she did and the way she held the wand up… that can’t be comfortable…
I don't get it. Why would one specific attack get blocked as opposed to all of the others?
Sailor Moon Crystal Season 3 stuff gets hit pretty consistently. It's very strange.
Because the enemies are allegedly stronger as the show goes on.
We see this is Sailor Moon S First Episode!
Sailor Moon used *Moon Princess Halation* from the last season, and the Daimon blocked it. Not just blocked it, but knocked the Scepter out of Sailor Moon's hand! XD
And then midway, we see another Daimon named *"Western",* shoot Moon Spiral Heart Attack with ease! Something Eudial had trouble doing normally. This required Sailor Moon to power up to an even greater transformation, and become a brand new form to defeat it.
Then in the next season after that, Sailor Moon Super S.
Around the 3rd episode I would say? *Hawk Eye* blocked Moon Spiral Heart Attack with his bare hands, pushing him back, but sustained no injuries whatsover doing so. Showing the level and capable strength of Dead Moon Circus, and that Sailor Moon's current strength is no longer effective, and will be weak against this new enemy.
Just for the record, this is different from when the Daimon, Western blocks Moon Spiral Heart Attack.
Western uses her energy attacks, but Hawk Eye uses his hands and tanks it, showing that even if he never blocked it, it wouldn't hurt him at all!
But with Western? It might have killed her if she never shot her gun and blocked it.
@@zeldarevenge1877 Um... thanks for the lengthy reply, but you misunderstood my question. I was asking: why VIZ would bother to block "Moon Princess Halation" on UA-cam as opposed to other Sailor Moon attacks.
Silver Crystal Power Kiss is kind of tragic because it’s the only one where SM looks truly sad that she’s doing it.
All the others she looks determined but this is the only one where she seems to be just hurt….
