I know the feeling. I miss my dad every day. He didn’t talk much, he was a very quiet person, but we still spent a lot of time together. Playing video games and bickering like siblings when we lost lol, and watching StarTrek for hours on end. I would give anything in the world to rewind the clock just a few years.
Me and my dad dont have the best relationship, but this scares me. Seeing comments like this just remind me of how we all die, and all thats left when were gone is the memories to hold on too
so many people can sing or play guitar. You don’t just sing or play guitar though. You have that unteachable passion that sends chills through peoples bodies. I’ve watched your other covers too and it’s undeniable that you’re talented. You seem young and I can only assume how much you’ve been through to sing with so much emotion. I just hope you understand what a gift you have to be able to turn your pain into something so touching. Remember too that recognition doesn’t give, or add to your talent either. Here I am a random person commenting on a cover, letting you know that I felt every word you sang, and whether it’s a cover or not I got chills because of YOUR talent. I’m pretty confused, but pretty stable and pretty confident at the same time and it’s really just messing with me. I went out with this girl, wrote and gave her a poem, but don’t know if she’s feeling the same and how it will go. But i say I’ll accept anything i’ll face.
@@mentfles9161 I'm pretty self-deprecating and self-effacing, and not very confident, but making music is the only way for me to feel okay, and is the one thing I feel confident about, so that's what I do, and that's what I love, and as long as I'm doing what I love, I know one day it'll all fall into place, whatever that may be. I don’t know your reasons for it, so I can’t solve much, but one I will say that I have noticed - your content on youtube is pure and honestly so cool - not only your amazing guitar and singing skills( I’m a beginner guitar player myself and you’re one big inspiration), but also the comfort you create in your videos, singing by a candle makes me want to wish you not to be like Gregor Samsa, hiding under bed and believing that’s for better. A part you opened to the internet is worth something. You’re worth something. A friendly reminder, maybe you don’t need maybe you do, once again.
