That's probably a true assessment: he and his political allies would surely lose the money from the backers supporting their takeover and reformulation of the party to their needs.

This is why I struggle so much to convince people to vote. I try to argue that not all politicians are liars and just out for themselves. I try to explain why its important to vote and that it can make a difference. Its "Leaders" like this that blow any and all of my arguments out of the water and I fear that the apathy is starting to get to me too.
The main reason not to vote is because one vote is meaningless.
Finally reached a point where I understand there is no point voting for anyone.
Be sure to at least spoil your ballot. Personally, I think we need to buikd the campaign to make the 4th of July Independents Day.
