I think it's interesting that no one paid attention to the fact that she didn't mention specifically the transgender Community. She said "we need younger drinkers". In other words, Dylan was a pawn in this whole thing, and no one is upset about that. And by the way she phrased it, she also alienated the demographic that they already definitively had. So she really screwed the pooch on this one

I had to use my stored bud light in cooking beered chicken bc nobody wants to drink them anymore. We started to support locals now, no more big brands😊

AB stock prices will likely stay strong for around 6 months or so. Because a lot of vendors are still restocking AB products like normal. The "boycott" won't have a direct effect on sales, for like 6 months down the line. Once vendors have shelves and storage rooms filled with perishable products that aren't selling. That's when you will really see massive drops in sales.
The boycott will be well over before then. People forget quick and if they really like something they will go back to it eventually. Most boycotts of this nature fizzle out and then people quietly go back. Happened to Nike, that coffee machine etc.
It goes in quarters not halves. Also nah not how it works. Bud light doesnt have a 6 month shelf life.

Because the people demanding the boycott of their products, were a relatively small demographic of their overall consumer base. Compare that with Bud Light's case. Where the demographic boycotting, lower to middle class conservatives, are by far the vast majority of their consumer base. It also doesn't help that other brands are happy to swoop in and peddle their products. Where as Keurig and Nike, there really wasn't a direct replacement for them.
@@ObliviousMalodi I mean yeah, with proper storage. Beer can have a longer shelf life. In general though most canned and bottled beers have a stamped "freshness" or sell by date on them. Because right around that 6 to 9 month mark. Is when beers will begin to go flat and start souring.

Don’t kid yourself. This “boycott” is much worse than is being described. I was a delivery driver for Adam’s Beverage Co and I went out and got a job with someone else because I don’t want to be associated with AB or anything “trans.” Yes, customers not buying Bud Light really hurt my household income but I support it 100% and I hope it continues until Bud Light issues an apology to its customers and then ceases to exist.

Budweiser has been brewing beer in the US for about 150 years. Just because its now owned on paper by a Belgium company does not mean the beer consumed in the US is brewed outside of the US. I still support local but really drink whatever you want to.

The beer company's VP of marketing openly told it's long term, dedicated customers that they were no longer needed, such a maverick. Adios AB. It's Heineken time.
It is my belief that these two executives were paid (probably a fortune) to keep their mouths shut about how far up this decision to endorse Mulvaney actually went. They probably signed nondisclosure agreements, and are set for life! Anheuser Busch has showed their true rainbow colors, and we as consumers should NEVER forget that!

These people just drink another beer by Busch. They own so many beers it's easy to think you are making a difference. Make sure if you want to boycott a beer, don't get another one made from the same people. I don't drink beer but my dad sure did. This was brought to my attention when I looked at all the beers around the world made by the same people. There is like a hundred plus of them lol
Their parent company owns 30% of the world beer market. This is why they're virtually immune to harm from a boycott, even in a major market like the US.

I just bought bud light last weekend.. didn’t even know this “controversy” existed. Yes there’s a lot of people on social media who get hypnotized by what they perceive as major issues & the company may take a short term hit, but the vast majority of people are just out here living their lives not feeding into irrelevance, and for that reason sales will remain steady especially after the social media hype is over. Sure there will still be the loyal oldies avoiding the brand, but every day, kids are turning 21 and they’re all new customers.

You do realize that more than half the country is supporting this boycott, right? It doesn’t have much to do with ppl’s insecurities, as you seem to believe. I heard there was issues around the beer. I was trying to get understanding about the issue. Now I am aware. I don't drink beer or any alcohol. But I support people who do. I was a teacher at the university. I didnt see any one who looked like me doing our first staff meeting. I kept waiting for more teachers to come. More teachers came but they didn't look like me. I stay but it wasn't easy. I walked in my classroom one evening closing my classroom I walked in and parents were having a meeting about how to get rid of me. Boy that hurted. But I stayed. For 28 years.

Apparently not, all sales on Anheuser products are down. As to Mulvaney as a choice they could have chosen better. A 28 year old whos viewership is 42% under 18 is questionable. While the majority that is left is 18-34. Still adding more to the underage percentage since the vast majority of US states have a over 21 age restriction for drinking. Alcohol advertising regulation
