I love this. I first saw it on another video and fell in love. How is the lighting for a dining room? Does it give enough light? I need a new light for a home I just bought and am playing around with some different ideas. Thank you for your video and advice
Loved your video but I have one question. You were finishing wrapping the jute and the next scene you said "now that it's done I'm taking it outside" you then proceeded to outside spray the sealer on it. Did you mean "now that its dry" surely you dont spray it before it dries completely???
Sorry for not being clear! I actually didn’t let it dry COMPLETELY before spraying the sealant. (I think this would have taken ages considering some of it was so layered it really didn’t have a lot of airflow on the inside closest to the ball) When I mentioned being it “done” I was referring to it being fully assembled. I also did a few more coats afterwards while it was outside drying just to make sure it was really as sealed as it could be. it was able to fully dry once I removed the ball. I had no issues with it this way and it’s held up very well even to this day ☺️ thanks for watching! Let me know if I can help with anything else
Wow ! It came out absolutely beautiful !! Love it
You did an awesome job!! Thank you for the tutorial. 👏🏾👏🏾
The amount of detailed information you gave us is so refreshing. The amount of string, the time it took 😩 tfs!
I'm so glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching!
it came out really cute, i'll try to make it in a smaller scale, thanks for sharing this idea
Thank you Joscelyn! Try using a kids bouncy ball, that might be a great option for a smaller scale light

@@mandipalermo I want to try this on a smaller scale. Thanks so much for the video and for your quick reply🥰
My pleasure! I’d love to hear about how it comes out ❤
I love it
I would love to make this, can you tell me the ratio of glue to water?
Hola!!!! De cuántos milimetros es el grosor del hilo de yute?
Gracias!!!!
Did you use 3mm or 4mm cord please?
Do you happen to know how much it weighs after it dries? I’m trying to replicate this but in a renter friendly version.
I rent as well! It’s super renter friendly and weighs close to nothing at all. It weighed a fraction of what the old chandelier weighed
Yo lo hice y se me a desecho toda😓
