I took my DI Precision Vudoo Three 60 to Mesa (Arizona) for some ammo testing in the Lapua Rimfire Performance Center lab and received the ammo the day prior. Thus, I decided to run the Vudoo Three 60 with the new case of Lapua Midas+ ammo for the July 2024 NRL22 Course of Fire Run-Through.
The July 2024 COF is quite easy except for one stage, and we should see some good scores at this match.
Be sure to download the NRL22 July 2024 Course of Fire from the NRL22 website to follow along: nrl22.com/downloads/
I highly recommend subscribing to @22LimaRomeo for his NRL22 COF run-throughs that are concise, thorough, informative, and well produced.
The next NRL22 match at WEGC is scheduled for Sunday 07/28 (2024)

Digging the scope caps/mount/optic. I have a feeling I know where you got them from :) -Tony from MKM
3rd stage was tough ran out of time 3 try’s 9 on, then got fast finish 9/10 with 9 seconds left same results really 😂 got me sweating
Stage 3 is gonna be very very spicy on time.
Great one as usual Jonathan! You are my go to every month for a preview.
Game changer and forget the plate and bag.
I waited a little over 8 months
Thanks for the rundown, Jonathan! Can you tell a bit more about the test results: what were the good groups from Midas, how far are the fliers?
The Midas+ lot I picked was averaging 16mm edge to edge at 50 meters, but a flier would open it up maybe 4mm edge to edge (just eyeballing the target printout). So maybe 12mm potentially.
Crazy how much prices have gone up since I got a lot from the test center in 2022.
Yeah, definitely cheaper in 2021, too. Inflation plus the even higher demand for high-end rimfire ammo definitely driving the price up.
Wish I can join you guys. I destroyed my rotator cuff, and bicep. Hopefully I get the surgery asap with a 6 month recovery time 😢.
Sorry to hear. Hope you can get it healed up soon.
Pretty sure one stage one that u re-use one of the rungs to make a total of six, but not the previous one as it says
Thats my interpretation anyway
I think the ambiguity is with the wording that "1 position may be repeated..." which seems to imply you don't have to repeat a position indicating there are 6 rungs. The recommended step ladder for NRL22 only has 5 rungs not counting the apex, but perhaps the wording takes into account a taller ladder being used by a venue. In either case, if someone shot off the apex, I would let it go because in the grand scheme of things, they moved to another position.
@@ocabjlol always a little wiggle room with the cof eh? I didnt think of a six step ladder
Thanks for posting, love ur videos
always a good day for me when the new cof drops
Are you still happy with the 13 twist, or would you rather choose a 16 twist today? I'm also going to order one of these barrels, but I don't know which twist rate I should go for.
@@Brotrindenvogel In all honesty, I’m not seeing any gains on the short course (100) which is what I normally shoot. So if given the choice of only one, I’d just say go 1:16. But this is my second Vudoo, so it’s nice to have 1:16 and 1:13 to play with .
Where did u get those target stands?

searched, top is also considered a rung. You ever use knee pads? in case you miss the ground pad 👍
No, I don't use knee pads because we shoot on concrete. If we shot on dirt, I would reconsider it.
@ocabj Most ladders have a caution or warning on the top "Not a Step". So, I don't think that is a rung. I understand the COF as: start where you want using the five metal rungs. Skip the most recently used rung seems to mean the last one used not the current one. So you would move to the second rung up or down from your fifth position. 🤷♀
