I love that Lucy and Martha sing duets of so many of the Christmas songs. Their harmonies blend so perfectly in everything they sing together, and they seem just naturally perfect for Christmas. And your words on Martha's beautiful voice were thought provoking. I think I view it as simple and pure. As an artist, Martha paints a simple, pure, beautiful picture, in soft colors, that's completely pleasing to the eye/ear... and Lucy is just much more. Lucy is a grand-master, doing more with the brush that is her voice and her presence than anyone else I think I've ever seen and heard. She paints in colors, and textures, and depths that are hard to describe, and that touch my soul, with warmth and wonder.
