  • Looking for a neighborhood that has Walkability, Access to Shops & Restaurants, and great public transit to get around the city? Marina might be the spot for you! Loaded with both Sunrises and Sunset's, the Marina is constantly full of enjoyment of what San Francisco and the Bay Area have to offer. If you're looking for a weekend getaway in San Francisco, be sure to check out this Marina District tour! We'll show you some of the best sights and attractions in the area, and why you should live here if you're looking for a great city to call home!
James will take you through the Marina District, a flat neighborhood that has a great mix of single family homes, condos and large apartment buildings. The neighborhood has a long history of uses and design ideas. Originally the land was used for the 1915 Panama Pacific Expo, where the Palace of Fine Arts is one of the lasting relics. Later it was a planned development known as Marina Gardens, which included arching streets and a different street design still in use on the East half of the Marina.
We will explore the feel and vibe of Chestnut St. as the main shopping and eating street in the Marina. Loaded with Bars, Cafes, and retail for about 7 blocks with a few off shoots of additional places. The beauty of the Marina can be seen in the video and felt in the buildings as we stroll through and enjoy many of the art deco buildings, Mediterranean and Spanish style homes.
The Marina is loaded with fun activities from sailing, running, cycling, hiking all nearby. Many Marina residents don't feel the need to leave as all basic necessities are right here. With that comes a price. As far as San Francisco Housing goes, the Marina is one of the highest ppsf (Price Per Square Foot) in the city. It's mostly a luxury neighborhood that has the unique mix of young professionals through families that all love living in the area.
If you're curious about living in San Francisco (Marina or otherwise), please don't hesitate to reach out to James!

Glad you like them Clint! I’ve been making more and working through editing them for the other neighborhoods. Any neighborhood that you’d love to see?

When it’s the standard to be windy, I guess we just find a way to make it work

Thanks for watching! That’s a different area. The city isn’t 1 million drug addicts. Cities are complex and have many different people. I will make a video about those areas, stay tuned if that’s what you’re looking for.
