You guys were using a Rode videomic huh? The jiggling and squeaking of those tiny, rubber bands is unmistakable. I used to own one. Anyway, cool episode!

Very cool - but it's in southwestern corner of Griffith Park (not southeastern).

This place looks like it is miles from anywhere, but in reality is probably just 5 minutes drive from Hollywood Blvd. Take Canyon road through Griffith Park until you can go no further and park up in the small parking lot. Turn around to face the road you have just taken and take the hiking trail upwards to your left. The Bronson caves are a 10 minute hike up, and the last time I went a few months ago, there was no one else around. Another vista for views of the Hollywood sign for any tourists that make the hike.
