@@AFAIK-l8k yeah Pokémon that can't evolve, but even Unown being the weakest, it's the most mysterious and interesting Pokémon in Pokémon universe and in movies like 3
@@AFAIK-l8kyeah but even then their reasoning for picking them is flat out wrong on most of them or they just say to catch the evolved form later... even for the last entree where you cant even di that.
"As for its' passive ability torrent, why does Quaxly have this?" Well... maybe cause all water starters have it? "Catch it later"... Either the best rage bait ever or the dumbest shit ever
Best part of that segment was how it's stated you should catch one later...Like where? It's a starter...unless you trade for it your not going to catch one anywhere
Dishonorable Mentions: *Sunkern -A base stat total of 180 made it the weakest pokemon statwise, until gen 7, when it would be beat by a pokemon with an even lower base stat total, Base Form Wishiwashi. *Delibird -It's Ice/Flying-typing makes it weak to a lot of common types. But then there's it's signature move, present. Basically, it's a gamble. It's damage is determined randomly, and there's a small chance that it can even heal the target. Plus, prior to Gen 7, it was the ONLY move it could learn normally, even after that, it only got one other move, Drill Peck, a fairly decent attack, but not enough to make it useful. *Wynaut *It can't learn any moves that can damage the opponent until level 15. That's also when it can evolve into Wobbuffet. And even still, I'd rather use someone else. Blissey is a better damage sponge due to its obscenely high HP, Hydreigon is a better attacker due to it's high stats and diverse movepool, and Bastiodon is a better wall and counter-attacker due to its high defenses and access to Sturdy and Metal Burst. Regardless, Wynaut and Wobbuffet are way too passive for me to use offensively, and if the enemy knows Taunt, you're basically screwed. *Luvdisc -It's stats and movepool aren't great and it can't even evolve even though there's a Pokémon in Gen 5 that could easily pass for one, Alomamola. The only thing it has going for it is that they're often holding heart scales, which can be exchanged for remembering moves. *Regigigas -OK, Regigigas actually has great stats and movepool, but... man, talk about an ability that ruins a Pokémon. To reflect it's long period of hibernation, Regigigas has the ability, Slow Start, which halves it's attack and speed stats for the first 5 turns in a battle. And this counter resets every time Regigigas is recalled or switched out. Now there are some ways to mediate this like hitting it with Gastro Acid or Skill Swap, but it wouldn't be until Gen 8 when Regigigas finally saw some use in double battles thanks to an unlikely ally, Galarian Weezing, whose signature Neutralizing Gas ability (which negates all pokemon abilities while the the user is in play) would wake up Regigigas like a pot of freshy-brewed coffee. (And yes, I know Slaking also has a similar problem with Truant, but that's not a legendary pokemon.) *Pyukumuku -Similar to Wynaut, it's methods of damaging the opponents are limited. Not even it's signature ability, Innards Out, is enough to save it, since that ability does damage equal to the amount of HP it had that turn before it was knocked out, meaning that if it had low HP before being KO'd or was knocked out by a bulky opponent, that ability was essentially wasted. And if the enemy knows Taunt, this thing is screwed.
For Gen VII, I would instead go with Cosmog AND its evolution Cosmoem. They are Legendary-tier Magikarps, atrocious stats, dismal movepools lacking meaningful offense, and extremely high evolution levels. The payoff of the cover Legendary is worth it, but it's more painful than Magikarp or even Feebas to get there.
Quaxly is called the weakest Gen 9 Pokemon for having Torrent, really? Most water type starters have that ability from the moment you pick them like the Froakie and Sobble line and also where the F**k can you catch any of the Quaxly line in Gen 9, it's a starter pokemon only obtainable at the very begining of the game.
Most annoying Pokemon in every game Zubat (Red and Blue) Miltank (Gold and Silver) Tentacool (Ruby and Sapphire) Garchomp (Diamond and Pearl) Eelektross (Black and White)
For Gen 7 I would have 100% gone with Wishiwashi. Sure, in it's school form it has a base-stat total of 620 with 140 in attack and special attack, a 130 in defense and a 135 in special defense but once its HP falls below half, it reverts back to its solo form which has the lowest base-stat total in the franchise at 175. And given that both schooling and solo forms have an abysmal base 45 HP stat Wishiwashi's schooling form isn't going to last very long (At least it didn't when I used it in a full playthrough of Moon version.) It was without a doubt one of the worst Pokemon I've used in a full playthrough
I'm gonna have to call BS for Quaxly. Not only can it learn some flying moves to cover its grass weakness (especially when you change its tera type to flying), but it gets Moxie for its hidden ability, which increases its attack stat every time it knocks out a Pokémon.
7:48-7:53 All the Water-type Starter Pokémon have Torrent. 8:04-8:10 What do you mean catch a Quaxwell later on in a playthrough? Did you even play the game? Quaxley being on this list is one piece of proof that MojoPlays has played any or all the main Pokémon games.
Woobat was only useful as a HM slave, thanks to the variety of HM moves it could learn. Aside from that? Sacrifices to revive your better Pokemon in the middle of tough battles
Once again another video where MojoPlays gets their facts wrong about the series as a whole: hidden power isn’t based on the typing of a Pokémon, early route Pokémon aren’t going to be super tough as they serve as the initial Pokémon for players to catch before upgrading to later game Pokémon.
It never happened to me, but I dont wanna finish the video, i just stopped at Yungoos. I checked the comments saying that there are pokemon that are worse than the ones you pick, and they're actually right. We cannot catch a Quaxly later in the game, a misinformation given to the public... what the heck is this. You haven't played a pokemon game *enough* to support your facts.
I don't know whats worse that they seem to think that woobat has all of its abilities at once or that simple is a bad ability. Im not trying to argue woobat and swoobat are good by any means but simple is busted especially if you're just doing a playthrough.
Magikarp is weak for a long time yes, but when it's evolve into Gyrados it's one of the most op Pokémon not only in Red & Blue, but also in Gold, Silver, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Black White and even X & Y Gyrados is the strongest water Pokémon that i'm still wondering why it's type is water flying and not water dragon maybe because it's too op with dragon type and about of Magikarp I remember in Pokémon anime when James bought it, but they can't eat it James kicked it on the water and that was James worst thing he ever made, he should keep that Magikarp... 😅
Pretty much everything about scarlet and violet is awful. From graphics, abysmal camera panning, game glitch. Its just awful and one of the reason why i like sword and shield the best (bc of dynamaxing)

@Leopez02 to be fair that's why they were going for the pre-evolved Pokémon

Hmm... why does Quaxly has Torrent I wonder? Why not ask the other 8 Water Partner Pokémon?! 🤣
Idk but when I played the game that passive ability was good to me especially when you use those vitamins and shard things to boost their base stats

I think Rookiedee is cool
Male Salandit.

Zubat (Red and Blue)
Miltank (Gold and Silver)

Smeargle can be. but you can also teach it some really strong moves. but stat wise thats not saying much

Complaining about Rookidee’s special stats is pretty much pointless because it’s proven to be a physical attack type.
Actually this list is filled with Magikarps lol
Yungoos for Gen VII? Any Wishiwashi under level 20 is way worse.
Weaker than just about anything mentioned is your overall knowledge of Pokemon and how everything actually works

A great fix to Unown would’ve been that hidden power deals double damage if it’s super effective. But only if Unown uses the move itself
detail in pokemon white and black arent all flying types kinda weak there?Pretty sure the flying leader uses something time 4 against electric
Oh boy, here we go again….
You can’t have a pokemon game without a few mobs here and there.
Damn gotta find the game they playing where u can catch a quaxwell or quaquaval … oh yea it doesnt exist. Another trash ass video from mojoplays
