NR2003 Draft Series - 1997 California 500 at California Speedway (15/32)

The third of a stretch of 2-mile tracks takes us to California Speedway for the first time ever, and a new challenge for the series! With enough experience from previous races at Pocono and Michigan however, the drivers were able to adapt quickly to the new racing environment as they learned of the uniqueness of the new track in Fontana.
Points are starting to loom in the back of everyone's minds, and while a win may not be the top priority, finishing in the top half of the field definitely is.
From here the series kicks it up into high gear with Daytona next week, with a new theme, possibly some new graphics, and of course the same great racing! As always, stay tuned for more from the Draft Series!
