Hi Terry! I will have divisions of Hoku Gem available in the spring. The Masdevallia is herradurae. There is a clone that is awarded (HCC) called 'Serenity' that is available from time to time.

Artwork Orchids & Beekeeping it won’t harm the plant. Paphs usually arrange the flower so the dorsal sepal covers the pouch to keep rain from getting into it. Unfortunately this doesn’t allow the flower to present itself well.

What would happen if i did not tie up a paphiopedillum spike? Will it break? Or will it just hang next to the pot or just below it?
