Hey guys! Just wondered what you think about pricing a product? My line is considered luxury however should I charge a lower price until I have built a larger customer base??
If you're going for a luxury brand you have to have extremely consistent messaging/branding that conveys luxury. Inconsistent pricing can kill your brand especially in the beginning. If you have the means to have a separate brand that is more affordable that you can leverage to bankroll your luxury brand, that would be ideal. Think about it like this: No way in hell can Toyota sell a $90,000 car, so they have Lexus which is a luxury Toyota. Same company, different brands. Get strategic about your branding and it'll make all the difference. Good luck 👍🏽

Urban Policy Clothing is a luxury streetwear brand focusing on uplifting Urban youth throughout the world and teaching Urban history to inspire the masses.
