No, Godzilla Vs. Kong Doesn't Have an End Credits Scene, and This Is Why
While Godzilla vs. Kong will undoubtedly settle who is the true king of monsters, fans expecting the Hollywood blockbuster tradition of a post-credits scene setting up a sequel will be left waiting... sort of. According to an interview at Syfy Wire, director Adam Wingard has said that footage previously planned for a post-credits scene has instead been used elsewhere in the film.
“We actually shot a post-credits scene but then we ended up using it in the movie," Wingard told Syfy Wire. "[It was] one of those things where we shot it as one idea, and we got into editorial and realized 'we need a moment at a certain point in the movie,' [so] we ended up taking that footage and using it in a different context in the movie and it really, really worked for us."

Does ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ Have a Post-Credits Scene? “Godzilla vs Kong” is the culmination of the four-film Monsterverse from Warner Bros that began with “Godzilla” back in 2014 and continued with “Kong: Skull Island” and “Godzilla: King of the Monsters.” This is, without a doubt, a series with more potential going forward - it’s not as though the Titans go away at the end of the movie. They could keep going with these things for a while.
Whatever ends up happening with the Monsterverse after “Godzilla vs Kong,” it’ll always be nice that we got these delightfully insane movies. They’re more than we deserve.

Yeah but again Godzilla didn't prove to be better than Kong,cuz in the first Round Kong is chained and drowning and has no place to move cuz is in water,in second round Godzilla is 100% well and so is Kong with his Axe,Good fight and Kong won,he knocked out Godzilla,half an hour later Godzilla get's back up and kong has a heart problem due to the explotion and can't fight back well so he decides to hide cuz he is not in a condition to fight, Godzilla fights him and dislocated his arm and sees that Kong is about to die to his heart and Godzilla leaves him to his fate,Mecha comes in and literally mops Honk Kong with Godzilla and Once Kong is back up with his axe kills Mecha,so if Kong was well with his axe fully charge he would have killed Mecha anyway and Kong in a separate fight could also beat Godzilla like he did in the second round,while Godzilla couldn't beat Mecha sooo.

The first round Kong was chained and in water(odds were against him) in the second round both were at top and Kong knock Godzilla out,people want the third round to count as the second cuz they don't want to admit Godzilla lost,kust cuz he got up but yeah he got up like half an hour later,even in the movie it self the character said Kong won the second round,the movie itself it's telling Kong won the second round,but people don't want to accept that cuz if they do,they only prove what i'm saying (which is what happen) Kong won the round were both of them were at their top(100% well) while Godzilla won 2 rounds were Odds were against Kong and he wasn't in any shape,like in the third round Kong is having a heart attack and Godzilla is pushing him and he can barely do anything and Godzilla leaves him to his fate.

I think this showed that Godzilla didn't wish to kill Kong. I think Godzilla was saying "The only thibk between us is that axe, drop it and its done". I think aslong a Kong was holding that axe it meant war to Godzilla.
I think he recognised that Kong wasn't a threat to the balance or was after the Alpha title. I think this is how Mothra and Godzilla built there relationship and understanding, former enemies and both with Alpha status finding common ground and understanding. By the end of this movie I think that was established. In KOTM Godzilla lost mothra but in GvK gained a Kong

I just watched the movie for a 5th time.Yes I agree the pacing is way too fast lol, it's an all over the place roller coaster. *I like King of the Monsters,* better lol. Wow we finally get rid of the humans but now we don't even get as much/if any monster action. Oh brother let's not start with the humans. They should have killed off Gina to make Kong reach his full potential... What was the point of keeping the actor at the post credit of king of the monsters alive if he's not going to show up in this movie?
Aside from that, I only have two problems with the movie.
1. That they need to team up against something that isn't a life ending threat to Gojira (he would have won on his own, this is proven by the fact that the whole mission to the hollow Earth is to find a power *EQUIVALENT* to Gojira). Oh how I wish to have seen them team up against something that's actually worth it example Destroyah.
2. Kong versus the Warbat. I believe Kong would have escaped and defeated the Warbat, but for some reason they needed to add the humans there to save him. Making him look incredibly weak... He is supposed to be the main contender for Gojira lol.
If the MonsterVerse doesn't continue this is a pretty terrible ending... 😭😭😭

Any chance of Zilla not Zilla Junior appearing in the MonsterVerse? Because I want to see him in the MonsterVerse since Toho's trademark ownership of Zilla is gonna expire on April 20, 2027. And if Zilla Junior does appear in the MonsterVerse too, then Godzilla Junior should also appear.

There could be no peace if he kept it. Imagine superman wanting peace with Luthor, hed demand Lex get rid of kryptonite. Kong drops the axe to end the war their parents fought.
