That moment when 2004 is twenty years ago... Anyway, Gavin's advice reminds me of that Bruce Lee quote, about not fearing someone who has practiced ten thousand kicks once, but fearing someone who practiced one kick ten thousand times.
Hi Zac. I would love to see you cleaning your armor from the rust from a campaign. That would be a really educational video for alot of us new reenacters. Greetings from Denmark
Did you guys fight in the rain, with or without armour? I'm very curious about what kind of experience that is. Especially in armour. How is visibility - with and without a visor? Heat dissipation? Is the sound from water drops on metal distracting, both outside and during the actual fighting? How slippery is the grass?
Yes, the rain wasn't that bad so we just carried on. I have fought and jousted in the rain before. I distinctly remember watching drips of rain fall through the slit of my visor as I watched the other guy at the other end of the tilt. It was very atmospheric.
This event had always looked just awesome! I really hope at some point i can get back to England and take part in this! Great video Zac!
that looks great fun
I wish we had this in America, it looks so fun to attend.
Nice! Thanks for lifting the lid on Fightcamp

Was lovely as always to see you there - hopefully will see you at Empire 1 next year at the latest!
Some of us would enjoy hearing more about any other antique swords that might be languishing around...
Interesting video as ever Zac. I loved watching Sharpe back in the 90s. 👍

That's a good idea for a video. Thank you.
Thanks for a look at fight camp
I just have to point out:
