Im a disgruntled college graduate from the class of 2000. I tried to make the most of my life but I never got the opportunities i thought I would get with having a college degree. If anything, it became a liability and a vice.
Despite all this, I never went down the rabbit hole and got into this voting for the Republican party. I'm doing what Prof G is doing at the local level. I'm a religious person who is also a liberal. I believe in economic justice and I believe in leaving the world a better place.
so what did you study .. and how have you worked for last 24 years ? ..

Excellent. I am an Associate Degree Retired Nurse. I gave 35 years to my career. We have to let kids have two years free. So many would benefit especially in your service jobs. Thank you great interview.

i worry about folks without college degrees. going to college allows folks to learn lots of interesting history, literature, etc. i think this leads to better citizenship. i experienced college as such a joyous experience. it should not cost so much .
College should not cost so much. Nothing wrong with going to a community college for two years and then Sate college!! We need folks with an education. it’s fun and it helps us to be better citizens and enjoy life because ….we know things😊

Our society needs to become more egalitarian before it eats itself. Shareholder value needs to be in balance with the other priorities of a company. Social security needs have the cap removed, and we need to get real about what is a utility and what that means.

Those who work their whole life deserves what they put in. I do agree those who are wealthy probably do not need it should not get it. Bezos is not at risk for starving and not having a roof over his head. Same with Musk and most government officials.

Here is a take minimum wage of $45.00 per hour would work and this is how. The 45 dollars from just letting the minimum wage rise at a rate that is closer to a real minimum wage that kept pace with inflation. The result here is the Wal-Marts, Home Depots and McDonald's would have a problem with this, but their big problem is, they have been given the right to pay a "slave" wage, This would re-vitalize all your downtown cores because there would an explosion in family-owned businesses once again. If back in the day these "super corporations" were forced to pay a "living wage" a great deal of the mom-and-pop stores would still be thriving.

It is my opinion that everyone’s first $50,000 of personal income should be “income tax free”. You still pay all the other withholding taxes.
Southern California, or NYC area might be $100,000, etc.
That would put $5000 minimum in the pockets of every person that’s working and paying taxes!

So am I, I’m an American Conservative! That’s socially progressive, fiscally conservative, and the perfect middle of nationalist, and globalist, non interventionist, kinda sorta mostly.
Maybe the true conservatives that want to save the parts of America worth saving, and the true progressives that want to fix the things in America that need fixing, can unite to form The Reasonable Party? I just want shit to work right while not going broke.

I just listened to Mr. Galloway for the first time on “Diary of a CEO” yesterday, and after that and this, I’m a huge fan-he’s smart, honest, authentic, fair, funny, open-minded, and generous. Would he perhaps consider making a gift of service to his country with a Presidential run? I’m serious-Trump tore up the old rule book for Presidential candidates, so we progressives need to start using a little more imagination.

IMO, one of the biggest social problems we face is equating someone’s differences as indicative of their inferiority or superiority…be it gender, identity, race, religious affiliation, etc. 🫤
I don’t have stats, but most single parent families are run by women. Many of these women have divorced or dumped their male partners because they were abusive. I stopped this video and made this comment desperately hoping the guy on camera isn’t going to say that all we need is to have men in the home again when we’re in that situation. I’m about to restart. Predictions anyone?
Why arent men who get divorced seeing their children? Could it have anything to do with the court system having a bias against them? I ask because I already know the courts are skewed against men in cases of divorce and child custody so dont just throw that tidbit out there and not qualify it with a reason for it like it just happens and we have no idea why that is.
I’ll wait to tune in until he interviews someone less annoying, scripted, and arrogant.
