Yeah, the ratio is always done by weight, so grams of water (which is the same as ml's). So yeah, with what you've got that would be a 1:15 ratio. Once you've measured you could switch to something more easy to measure. To be honest, it doesn't have to be 100% perfect, as long as you're close, it should be delicious!

Personally, I prefer clever brewer. Much easier to clean with similar results! French press can brew 8 cups compared to 2 or 3 in clever, thats one advantage.
