I’m trying to figure out how to actually set the automatic voice record. I can’t seem to find the right setting. Thanks so much.
Hello... Just purchased one of these 64GB Digital Recorder. So far so good. BUT, can seem to get it to record via "Line In". Still picks up from the external mics, even when line is plugged into the line port. Is there a particular setting, cord, adapter, etc., in order to record via Line In? The manual I received did NOT provide any info concerning "Line In" Recording. Thanks for your review.
I hear you say that there is a voice activation setting and this is a fundamental claim of this recording device. I have read through the instructions enough to see that there is no setting that turns ON the voice activation. There should be a "VOR" displayed once the voice activated recording is turned on but it is nowhere to be found.
What is the "gain setting" for
The gain setting has to do with how loud the person is that it is recording. If it is to loud or soft or has distortion you would increase or decrease that setting.
Just ordered this today on Amazon for Nursing school... How does the file transfer work?
I find it eases to just plug into a computer or laptop and just open the folder to the files....basically like if you plugged in your cellphone.
Hi. I have just purchased this recorder, but I’m having trouble understanding how to set it up ie date, time. Also do you set it to MP3 before you start to dictate or after when you’re saving it.
I basically need a step by step how to start using it. I read the booklet, but I’m pretty ignorant in the tech part. Help please.
The MP3 is set in the settings section, so you don't select that after. I think mine was already on MP3, so you might test it out and see if that is the format that it is recording. The time and date is a little harder. When you plug it into the computer there is a text file that you open with Notepad. You have to change the date and time in that.
