I don't think you failed. Unfortunately, you worked with a bad person. All these feelings about not being good enough is our mind lying to us. Your videos are an inspiration to me and I'm sure that you be hired again, working in a better company ❤ Stay strong 💪🏽

You did great brother. It is not easy to transition into a new job sector and environment. You should be proud of yourself for how far you have come and the fact that you managed to share your story with all of us. It takes real courage to recognize your fault. Dont be sad when you know you gave your best. But i will tell you something, it might also just be possible that the company you worked for was not suitable for a fresher. I dont want you to pin this on the impostor syndrome you seemed to have, but not all companies hire people keeping in mind that you are new to the industry. In my opinion the colleague you had, was very unprofessional with you, and you deserved better. If you have genuine interest in the field of data analytics, I would say you could possibly give it another shot (no pressure tho my friend, you did well as is). I wish you all the best for you future :).

I am also studying to become a data analyst and your story resonates with me so much!. I've also gone through some job interviews but because of my lack of experience I haven't gotten the job yet. I almost did one time, they even talked about giving me an offer after multiple intervies and technical tests, but they ended up ghosting me. It made me feel awful about myself and I even hated myself for a few days telling myself how ignorant and worthless I was and that I had made a fool of myself when I put myself out there. But im doing better now, I'm just confusing on learning and practicing more and i truly believe that eventually someone will give me a chance to prove myself. Btw, the inpostor syndrome can be a real son of a b!sh sometimes. You're worth so much more than those negative thoughts

@@Thumper_boiii_baby I took the IBM Python for data science, AI course on Coursera and it was great for a beginner like myself. I've also watched several YT videos from "Bro Code" and "Programming with Mosh". Udemy has also been awesome for learning SQL. Hope this helps!

We are here for you brother. That sucks, it just sucks. Some people will never be able to change the way that they think about their career and they will bring other people down to prevent change. But people entering the field have to be the ones to change it.
I used to work in restaurants as a cook with a very toxic environments that seems to be similar to this start-up's. I figured that I would have to bring the positivity to the position. Never let someone like that senior analyst stop you from pursuing your interests.
We are all cheering for you. We are all wishing you the best, keep pushing forward.

Hang in there 💪Sounds like you unfortunately ended up in a workplace where people dont look after each other ... When you're hired at junior level, it shouldn't be expected of you to perform at a seasoned employee's level, with challenging goals and 0 guidance. Failing to retain an employee also is a company's failure. You can always carry on with improving your skills, whenever possible on data you're passionate about (like music data I assume), it makes it a whole lot easier too. I have carrer switch horror stories too. Stay strong!

You shouldn't have quit. You were basically being paid to learn. You should have continued taking their money. You are on a learning path. You didn't fail. lol Also, startups are all like that. People are just making stuff up on the fly. Keep looking for more data analyst jobs. Forget about these people and for god's sake....don't be afraid to get fired.

No way bro do not give up. When you are a junior you are supposed to get paid to learn. I have seen your videos you are more than good enough to be at the junior level. Do not give up. Make sure you have money saved so you are not scared to be unemployed. Do not let toxic managers break you down. Keep learning other tools and even data science.

Start ups are very hard environments to start, try a company with more grounded position so they have time and resources to teach u the job. Dont worry to much, keep trying.

It’s not you- it’s the toxic micromanager. It’s a freaking start-up, everything is trail n error. The organization is still in amateur cycle. Their loss buddy.

I live in a different country from yours, but the same thing is happening here. The employment status is just horrible. So many competitors are in the market, and so many qualified candidates could not get a job. Damn......everything was just fine when the economy was growing

Hola, me encontré tu video.

Don't get me wrong but after getting your dream job why commit half! While knowing that you were not the 1st pick of your senior you should have given your full time there.
