No way bro do not give up. When you are a junior you are supposed to get paid to learn. I have seen your videos you are more than good enough to be at the junior level. Do not give up. Make sure you have money saved so you are not scared to be unemployed. Do not let toxic managers break you down. Keep learning other tools and even data science.

I am also studying to become a data analyst and your story resonates with me so much!. I've also gone through some job interviews but because of my lack of experience I haven't gotten the job yet. I almost did one time, they even talked about giving me an offer after multiple intervies and technical tests, but they ended up ghosting me. It made me feel awful about myself and I even hated myself for a few days telling myself how ignorant and worthless I was and that I had made a fool of myself when I put myself out there. But im doing better now, I'm just confusing on learning and practicing more and i truly believe that eventually someone will give me a chance to prove myself. Btw, the inpostor syndrome can be a real son of a b!sh sometimes. You're worth so much more than those negative thoughts

You did great brother. It is not easy to transition into a new job sector and environment. You should be proud of yourself for how far you have come and the fact that you managed to share your story with all of us. It takes real courage to recognize your fault. Dont be sad when you know you gave your best. But i will tell you something, it might also just be possible that the company you worked for was not suitable for a fresher. I dont want you to pin this on the impostor syndrome you seemed to have, but not all companies hire people keeping in mind that you are new to the industry. In my opinion the colleague you had, was very unprofessional with you, and you deserved better. If you have genuine interest in the field of data analytics, I would say you could possibly give it another shot (no pressure tho my friend, you did well as is). I wish you all the best for you future :).

We are here for you brother. That sucks, it just sucks. Some people will never be able to change the way that they think about their career and they will bring other people down to prevent change. But people entering the field have to be the ones to change it. I used to work in restaurants as a cook with a very toxic environments that seems to be similar to this start-up's. I figured that I would have to bring the positivity to the position. Never let someone like that senior analyst stop you from pursuing your interests. We are all cheering for you. We are all wishing you the best, keep pushing forward.

Hola, me encontré tu video.

Hey Juan. Years ago, I worked for an e-commerce startup, and I can attest that some startup cultures push their employees to the brink. It's unclear if they aim to mirror leaders like Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos, or Elon Musk. Regardless, I've experienced what you're feeling now questioning my sanity, taking work home, arriving early, and staying late to satisfy my manager. I found myself doing the work of three people without extra pay because it was expected. I aspired to be an outstanding employee, but eventually, I realized the toll it took on me without genuine support. The lack of support stemmed from the startup's frugality and unwillingness to invest. Such underhanded tactics are common in startups that are barely afloat. My health deteriorated, leading to eczema breakouts on my torso and legs, so I resigned for my well-being. I experienced a gamut of emotions-anger, frustration, betrayal. I left without a formal exit interview. In retrospect, it was the right decision, and it taught me to stand up to anyone who treats me as less than human. This seems to occur more often to kind individuals than to the unkind. My advice is to take a break, regroup, and stay positive. Something good will come your way. You're truly skilled. Keep your spirits high.
