Same thing with me on the Faber-Castell Watercolour Pencil! I literally wonder if the formula of the Classic Colour Pencils were the same with the Watercolour one so I just ended up using the sharpener and omg the sharpener was so useful and versatile I even use it for my Prismacolour. I know it's doesn't really fit because the pencils when it comes in the packaging, tends to have wider and shorter tips than that of Faber-Castels but I still try to make it work and it did!
I've got a soft spot in my heart for those cheap sketchbooks and multi-media gift set briefcase things . . . I got a lot of those as a kid, and while they weren't the best by any means, they introduced me to a lot of new types of media. I have fond memories of just painting endless swirling masses of color with the watercolors and then running off to eat lunch only to come back and discover that leaving water sitting on the paints for long periods of time made them more vibrant. Six year old me was amazed and I still have a fondness for watercolor 20+ years later. My mother actually bought me an easel for Christmas last year because she was shopping with her aunt for her aunt's son for college (her aunt is only five years older than my mother) and they found foldable easels on sale. I think it might be time to try it out soon.

Gorl! No! The Col-erase pencils are fantastic! They're great for watercolor or Copic under sketches, the pigment is soluble and it just dissolves beautifully adding a soft, subtle hint of color. They're not really meant for full color pencil drawings and are not at all similar to Crayola.

I'm in the process of moving and I've noticed just how many art supplies I have that I don't use. I have siblings, but none of them are artistic. Thanks for the idea!
4:43 Funny story, I found this small, palm sized notebook that had blank paper instead of lined for about 2 bucks at Walmart and honestly it’s the best paper I have. The only think it sucks with are alcohol markers, but it can take watercolor, colored pencil, pencil, hell even microns!

So the colerase pencils, most people use in place of a regular pencil. And I agree about the Daler Rowney Simply books, however, they make this pocket Sketchbook that is hard cover, that is AMAZING! Especially for alcohol markers. I don't know what it is, but the colours are more vibrant on it, and the blend is AMAZING! You just have to watch out for bleed through. Edit: oh, and the Crayola Signature pearlescent acrylics are also super amazing, but I got them as a gift, so I don't know how much they are.
I am so happy you donated these items instead of throwing them away. Makes me smile a ton to see artists donate supplies they don’t like or use to other people who might like them. Keep up the great work by the way! 😊
I’m sorry that you don’t like the White x White Fabriano paper because it’s really, really good paper. I have the Black x Black ones and I really love it. It works best for medium like pastels and it’s one of the few rare paper that doesn’t get chewed up by acrylic paint pens like Molotow or Posca Pens. It’s very non-porous, which I like because even with kinda cheapest gel pens that can write on Black paper show up gloriously. I think it can also handle watercolor too although I haven’t experimented enough to really test that out. But it’s not meant for regular pencil work because if it’s surface, IMO.

Somehow, we all end up with stuff we don’t use/doubles of items. Between gifts, multiple subscriptions boxes, and buying one type of something only to find out that you like another type better... I’ve often got a huge box of stuff that’s just cluttering up my house and I won’t use. I’ve got a favourite UA-cam artist who’s just starting out and struggling. I got great joy out of sending her a box of this stuff (even a whole bunch of Tombow and Copic doubles) to share the “art love” with the directions to pass on anything that she already had or didn’t like. No point hoarding it all in my house when others out there (like so many here) would kill to have these things!
Col erase I thought were just meant for sketching not coloring I use them for laying out sketches and such because they are erasable and work well as a base for an image
Rae, I could be wrong. But I did take a peek at your art supply list on Amazon just yesterday. I had watched a different video of yours where I found a link to go look there. I think I saw Crayola blender markers that you hate on your list. You might want to take a peek. If you hate them, maybe you don’t want them on there! I use the crayola erasable pencils for my base sketch
Hi are love your UA-cam channels. Ur so funny.
Sometimes cringe.... but that’s what makes me laugh after I lost a person close to me...
Keep working😅
Love your channel Rae Rae!! The crayolas are so sad.
Oh I discovered faber castle watercolor pencils and I love them🥰
I think the people that disliked thought it said:Dis I Like
😋😋😋
I swear arteza sponsored her
They have in the past. Arteza supplies are amazing! Xxxx
Col erase I thought were just meant for sketching not coloring
I use them for laying out sketches and such because they are erasable and work well as a base for an image

love you rae💕 keep doing what you are doing! inspire me daily 🌌✌🏻
Total crap huh
I didnt mean rae i meant the art supply
Rae, I could be wrong. But I did take a peek at your art supply list on Amazon just yesterday. I had watched a different video of yours where I found a link to go look there. I think I saw Crayola blender markers that you hate on your list. You might want to take a peek. If you hate them, maybe you don’t want them on there! Like I said, I could be wrong, I don’t have time to check myself right now. Love your videos! Yep, 66-year-old woman loves your videos! You cheer me up and inspire me.😊
5:25 I feel like my niece got a set just like that same brand but no oil pastels. The water colors seemed less chalky than the ones I got out of a similar thing years ago when I was in high school lol!
Literally the Arteza’s are 👌🏽 I love them so much they are really good for additional add ons and if you wanna start slowly and go up and up
Serious question are the prismacolor col-erase pencils for coloring or for sketching? Cause every artist that I've seen using them just use them to sketch with.
ALL the comments say they are for sketching. She must not get that, plus they are eraseable
