More On The Fit The 808 2 Ultra V2 is easier to put on. The 808 3 Ultra V2 is more time consuming, you have to undo 5 shoe-lace loop holes to get into the shoe especially if you are a wide footer. @luisgon7090 I recently have heard that from a couple of players. For me, I feel very comfortable with both but know everyone is different. The V2 strap is more thicker and not as soft as the V3 so you will feel it more. The V3 once on feels very undetectable. If you wear shorter socks, you might feel the V2 strap against the skin. Possibly, longer socks could help. And thanks for the insight Luis 👍 👍
@kiefdreams Never had anyone ask that question, here are some ideas. Can pull the tongue in between the laces (over and under, over and under, and keep repeating process) so the laces hold the tongue in place. Might have to cut a bit of the sides of the tongue to make it fit right or fold the sides a bit. Can puncture some shoe lace holes in the tongue, so the laces help hold the tongue in place. Just be very thoughtful where you are going to place the hole inserts. Can add/sew a pull tab on the top area of the tongue, then just put the laces through the pull tab. This is my favorite solution. Even maybe a large rubber band or cloth band that you can wrap around your ankle, then just place the tongue through it. Hope these give you some ideas 🙏
@@jpalacesneakers thanks! I’ve been thinking about puncturing holes in the tongue to feed the laces but i might try the rubberband thing first. Not sure my why tongue always gets smushed down while i play to the point where i cant even pull it up lol maybe i wear my laces too tight or not tight enough🤷♂️
@kiefdreams The pull tab is easy to install, can just be a thick ribbon material, cut it to length, then sew the ends, result: you have a loop to put the laces through. Make it look like this but not as loose: prowly-uploads.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/16411/assets/276635/preview-018d89e0f610b2461e2cc7f2c5f44716.jpg Can buy a ribbon roll that's good quality (or any sturdy material around the house) and can save it for future shoes. You can sew it yourself or have your mom, grandma, or gf do it lol If rubberbands work, gonna love that 😍
I like the newer model better for an ankle injury, because it feels more like someone wrapped your ankle with sports tape. Yet it feels very comfortable. This one has a more natural feel. The older model feels good too, since it's a thicker material you do feel it more. Someone had commented they did not like how it felt around their ankle, it dug too much so it bothered him. For me, it did not bother me at all but you will be more aware it's there. Both have heel counters (ankle side walls) so you feel secured and locked in. The underneath foot cushioning/foam feels about the same for both in the heel area, no big difference. Hope this helps 👍

If I have suffered an ankle injury which would be better for me ?
