My $1700 240sx Has a SURPRISING Issue(s)

- Since purchasing this $1700 1993 Nissan 240sx, I wanted to completely strip the car down to look for any and all rust before we make headway on this build. Even though it’s a super clean interior, I still wanted to make sure that we are covered. What should we do with this car?

when I pulled the carpet in my car, I cut along the same place you did. When I reinstalled it, I just tucked it underneath and it fit really nicely still. The aftermarket carpets don't have the molding that the OEM stuff has so it'll take some convincing to get it to sit right. I also painted my carpet with fabric paint and I was very pleased with the results from $30-40 in supplies as opposed to a few hundred dollars for an aftermarket one.
Yeah I was thinking of respraying this carpet but it will still have a huge ass hole in it on the drivers side. What brand dye did you use?

You should deep clean the carpet and then dye it black I did it with my 2004 Colorado and the carpet was full of really badd stains but whenever I dyed it you cant even tell just looks new
If the carpet didn’t have that big rip in it then I’d think it’d be a solid option. I’ve heard of a bunch of great things about carpet dye
