Thanks for the tips, its actually simple and effective. Jokes aside i want to give a good tip for ya peeps. If you get a lock pick when ur still below 50 doors, keep that lock pick as the doors above 50 has more chance to have a ginormous room with a lock to the next door in it, you can just use the lock pick you got and get out quicker instead of tryna find the key and get harassed by screech.
Do not trust any test first if there fake keep investigate the truth but if all fakes don't believe them. For your safety warning stay tuned and have fun playing. Goodbye.
Also its even better if you keep it after door 50, since you dont want to die to screech because its harder to find keys in the dark, he once gave me 1 literal second to react to his "psst!", Almost died to it
Remember my comment that you shouldn’t try these tips well try mine 1: if your in a situation with no closets to hide in just go in a dead end or vents problem solved 2: if you don’t want screech in a dark room wait for the guiding light to show up it’s that easy 3:on the seek chase look in one direction if it’s the right way or not follow that guiding light next time! 4:use the flashlight for the green house it helps you know if snare is near 5: if you don’t which door has dupe hear his breathing if you do dupe is in that door that’s too easy now 6: if figure always gets you don’t go in his path go in dead ends or go to the right side of the lock 7: if rush always gets you at the green house go near a closet if you go through like 4 doors 8: lockpick chests NOT doors the chest mostly has a lockpick and special about it is IT CAN HAVE A CRUCIFIX 9: if you don’t know where the key is you can hear the key problem solved 10: screech can get you even if you have a lighter that’s all my tips I hope you beat doors now except for room 100😨

for 1:15 theres also this thing where if youre speedrunning and wanna complete the game fast you can go through here and quickly enter the closet, click off tab and press alt+f4 really really fast and then you noclip a lot of studs further (i didnt know about this either before) im not sure if they patched it or not sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt if you dont do it fast enough

Did you know that you can actually bypass seeks chase cutscene? Well you can by flying to the next room cuz the cutscene only appears if you open that door
If you want to beat the game in under 3 seconds, just hit alt + f4 really fast, and you’ll get crocs and instantly win in the elevator, it’s THAT EASY.
here's a tip for beginners: If you wanna beat the game, just beat the game, it's THAT EASY. or if you're a noob: Crouch under the cart to get the key for door 1 on the shelf. Then, you unlock the door with the key. If there is a locked door, look in drawers, floors, tables, and even the chests in some rooms, then unlock the door. On doors 3-19, hide in a closet/bed if you see flickering lights because that is Rush, one of the first entities you will encounter on the run. Most of the time, it is Rush. But you will encounter Ambush when you hear static noises. He can "rebound", which means he will come back, so you gotta hop in and out of a closet/bed when you encounter him. Remember, you can't stay in a closet or under a bed because Hide will kick you out, dealing half of your health. If you see two doors, go back to the door you went to as fast as you can, so you can know what doors to go through. If you take too long, then the door number will be scratched off. If there are locks, then find the key to the right door. Don't go to the wrong door, because Dupe will paralyze you and blind you. I would recommend listening to the walls near a door, because if you hear growling, that is Dupe and the wrong door. Throughout the run, you may find a spider called Timothy in a drawer. He does barely any damage but a huge jumpscare. Screech is the most annoying entity in the game. He makes a "psst" sound when he spawns. You have to look for him or you get bitten by Screech, taking some damage. If you randomly get teleported to a hallway with turquoise lights, start walking. You have encountered Halt. Halt is slowly chasing you. You can't stop walking or the entity will catch you. If you see a turquoise screen saying "Turn Around", walk the other way because Halt is going to appear in front of you. It's okay for Halt to catch you once, but a second time will kill you. When you survived Halt, you will be teleported back to the Hotel. Now, you may be at door 28-40 by now. If you see flickering lights, but there are eyes on the wall, don't worry about Rush. That is just Seek spying on you. If you see lots of eyes in a room, you'll know Seek is about to come if the next door is a hallway with no eyes. When Seek comes, a cutscene of him coming out of the ground starts. You gotta run from him. If there are fallen shelves, crouch under them to go forward. There will definitely be round corridors of some sort. you have to run into the doors with blue lights. Finally, the last part of the Seek Chase. You have to dodge the burning chandeliers and Seeks goofy arms swaying. Walking into the burnt chandeliers will deal damge, but the arms will grab you and throw you out the window, instantly killing you. When you get to the door, Seek will keep running until the door slams on his face. The run isn't anything special until door 50. When you open the door, a cutscene of Figure will start. You have to crouch so Figure doesn't sense you. Grab the books that are hanging out of the bookshelf to escape the library. They will have a high pitch whistling sound to help you find the books. There may also be books upstairs in the library where the lock and the door is. Reminder that Figure gets faster every time you collect a book. Hide in a closet if Figure is chasing you or is too close to you. If Figure is right next to the closet where you're hiding, a heart minigame will appear. You have to left click or right click or Q/E, or tapping if you're on mobile. When you're done Figure will slowly back away, making it safe for you to come out. When Figure is far, go to the desk and get the paper. That is to help you make up the code to escape the library. Once figuring out the code, slowly head upstairs and type the code on the lock, opening the door. On door 52, you will find Jeff's Shop. You can purchase vitamins, lockpicks, flashlights, lighters, and two of the three most overpowered items in Doors: a Crucifix, and a Skeleton Key. A Crucifix is used to banish, or kill entities. The Skeleton Key is used in three different ways: You can use it on a locked door, much like a lockpick, you can open the room in the Infirmary, which holds the Herb of Viridis, one of the most overpowered items along with the Crucifix and the Skeleton Key which can heal you if you're wounded on door 68, and finally, you can use it with two lockpicks to unlock "The Rooms". In the room, You can talk to El Goblino. Don't try to waste your time attempting to interact with Bob because he does absolutely nothing. The next challenge you will face is the second Seek chase. It's slightly harder than the first chase, as Seek gets faster and the chase is longer. Don't think you can banish Seek with the Crucifix, because it just stuns him. On door 89, you will see a greenhouse with an outdoor area. But don't think you're perfectly fine, because the last few doors are dark rooms with usually only two closets. You won't see flickering lights, which means that Rush is harder. You have to listen for a wave of sounds so you know when to hide. Finally, at door 100. You will be at an abandoned storage room. I recommend that you wait for the guiding light to show up. If you have useful items in your inventory like a Crucifix, lockpicks, vitamins etc, go downstairs under the elevator room to find a rift where you can place one of them to save for another run. When you pull down the lever next to a door, a cutscene starts with Figure coming down from the stairs and starts to chase you. Either you run until he stops chasing you, or hide in a closet. You have to find 10 breaker switches to power the elevator. One of the fuse boxes is upstairs. Once done, grab the key near the elevator and head down to unlock the locked room, unless you have a lockpick. There you will put the breaker switches in the breaker panel. From there, a cutscene of Figure is set of fire shows. And then you have to play a puzzle. you have to turn on certain circuits in 3 tests. Don't worry, there is no time limit. When you finish, Figure is about to bust the door behind you open. Now you have to run to the elevator while Figure is chasing you. Once you get to the elevator, a cutscene of the elevator falling with Figure on it shows. You have escaped the Hotel! Ending the run... for now.

Hide in a closet if Figure is chasing you or is too close to you. If Figure is right next to the closet where you're hiding, a heart minigame will appear. You have to left click or right click or Q/E, or tapping if you're on mobile. When you're done Figure will slowly back away, making it safe for you to come out. When Figure is far, go to the desk and get the paper. That is to help you make up the code to escape the library. Once figuring out the code, slowly head upstairs and type the code on the lock, opening the door. On door 52, you will find Jeff's Shop. You can purchase vitamins, lockpicks, flashlights, lighters, and two of the three most overpowered items in Doors: a Crucifix, and a Skeleton Key. A Crucifix is used to banish, or kill entities. The Skeleton Key is used in three different ways: You can use it on a locked door, much like a lockpick, you can open the room in the Infirmary, which holds the Herb of Viridis, one of the most overpowered items along with the Crucifix and the Skeleton Key which can heal you if you're wounded on door 68, and finally, you can use it with two lockpicks to unlock "The Rooms". In the room, You can talk to El Goblino. Don't try to waste your time attempting to interact with Bob because he does absolutely nothing. The next challenge you will face is the second Seek chase. It's slightly harder than the first chase, as Seek gets faster and the chase is longer. Don't think you can banish Seek with the Crucifix, because it just stuns him. On door 89, you will see a greenhouse with an outdoor area. But don't think you're perfectly fine, because the last few doors are dark rooms with usually only two closets. You won't see flickering lights, which means that Rush is harder. You have to listen for a wave of sounds so you know when to hide. Finally, at door 100. You will be at an abandoned storage room. I recommend that you wait for the guiding light to show up. If you have useful items in your inventory like a Crucifix, lockpicks, vitamins etc, go downstairs under the elevator room to find a rift where you can place one of them to save for another run. When you pull down the lever next to a door, a cutscene starts with Figure coming down from the stairs and starts to chase you. Either you run until he stops chasing you, or hide in a closet. You have to find 10 breaker switches to power the elevator. One of the fuse boxes is upstairs. Once done, grab the key near the elevator and head down to unlock the locked room, unless you have a lockpick. There you will put the breaker switches in the breaker panel. From there, a cutscene of Figure is set of fire shows. And then you have to play a puzzle. you have to turn on certain circuits in 3 tests. Don't worry, there is no time limit. When you finish, Figure is about to bust the door behind you open. Now you have to run to the elevator while Figure is chasing you. Once you get to the elevator, a cutscene of the elevator falling with Figure on it shows. You have escaped the Hotel! Ending the run... for now.
