Eden tv brother rightly asked a question....as.... Jesus ministered with pauper/poor people... Definitely he would have spoke abundance about hard work, attitude, worldly blessings, to eat the labour of hands etc.... indirectly it meant to possess/occupy in a right way...
When Jesus ministered the sick/diseased.... He did healing at the end...& They were healed... He didn't only spoke about peace, happiness, content etc...since they need healing...he did miracles & they were healed...
Similarly..when he ministered with the poor... He would have spoke about the way of successful living....

*Jesus became poor to make us rich ?* Then why Jesus did he not rebuke the church at Smyrna for not walking in the fullness of his redemption. Instead of saying " I know thy poverty " Jesus should have asked " why are you still living in poverty ?". Jesus should have rebuked them to repent of their poverty MENTALITY and to believe that he carried their poverty and come out of that curse.
Jesus did not ask them why they have not received the blessing *S* of Abraham.

Not all can be teachers! Read your Bible with understanding!
1 Timothy 6:17-18 (KJV) Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
It is clearly telling us not to be highminded meaning being prideful and put your trust in it. But to always trust Him (Jesus) who gives us all things richly to enjoy. Notice all things. And the next verse says to be ready to distribute and communicate. So how can one communicate if he or she is poor? In the Gospels Jesus clearly says, if you have left anything for the Gospels sake you will receive a hundred fold in this present world and the world to come. There are many more verses that I can quote. This interview is unscriptural and shows your ignorance. Paul the apostle said study to prove yourself. Brothers kindly study the word before you can interpret. Remember one thing. Jesus dealt with everything that sin brought into the world. And it was mans Sin that brought every curse which includes poverty too. His riches is inclusive of everything. So go and study the word. Don't come up with a biased pseudo interpretation.

In truth riches God gives are more of Spiritual not of material things. Many Rich preachers and pastors who posses crores of rupees and land properties in their name are poor in spiritual life and they cannot give God's Word which is spiritual ( Jesus words are spirit and life John 6:63). No man can serve God and mammon. Those who stress on money are really serving mammon and not God, who is Rich yet became to poor to make us rich in spiritual life ( growing in love, faith , hope, in holiness to become like Him in life , in His image. ( Romans 8:28, 29). Prosperity preachers are the most poor spiritually. They know how to draw crowds by their attractive speeches but they are empty spiritually. SAD PREACHERS WHO DECEIVE NEW BELIEVERS WHO DO NOT KNOW THE WORD OF GOD. BEWARE OF SUCH FALSE PREACHERS AND PASTORS WHO AMASS MONEY TO BECOME MATERIALLY RICH ! !

2 cor 9 is all about money collection.
Read with the context.
2 Corinthians 8:2 ....riches of their liberality .... same Greek word meaning money as well as abundance is used. Even though the chapter is about money we have to take the closest meaning that matches the context. In every language every word has more than one meaning. Chapter 8 also is about money collection.
So whoever is in Christ must be a beggar
