Tech D-lineman Brandon Williams hits Aggie QB Jerrod Johnson late. Backup QB Stephen McGee finished the drive with a touchdown; Johnson would return later in the game.
Hope he can do those type of hits again to our NFC East Rival Quaterbacks.
jerrod johnson was a great QB, but stephen mcgee is definitly better in my opinion. i have been an aggies fan since i can remember and im 14 years old. now on 9-29-12 a new freshman QB is in and is doing an excellent job. Aggies get better every game! Keep it up Aggies!
Incomparable to the Harrell hit.
First off, this one was called, Harrell's was not. This one is borderline, Harrell's was not.
Secondly, it was a mess in Jerrod's video. Daniel Howard already had a hold of his legs before Williams got there. It was the presence of Howard near his ankles that caused Jerrod's knee to get tweaked. In Harrell's video, Miller had no one on him. He had his head down ready to lay out a hit on Harrell. True, if Graham had held onto the ball it would have been legal
Not nearly as late as Von Miller on Harrell the year before, Harrell was practically huddling up for the next play when Von Miller hit him. Players don't forget, and the last thing you want to do is fire up a team that has beat you down the last 9 of 12 yrs.

Wow...so the cowboys drafted the guy who knocked out their starting qb and then we also drafted the guy who REPLACED the starting QB...any coincidence???
like he ever gonna play a single down anyway besides maybe pre season and thats all he will ever see.
where was that call last year when an aggie destroyed harrell after the play was over and there was no call? that hit was way worse than this one on johnson

All anyone from Tech hears about is when you used to dominate Tech until the '90s and about your championship trophy from 75 years ago that has probably turned to dust by now. I will continue to make fun of a has-been team like A&M until they can start to do anything against us. One win doesn't make you gods of Texas football again. And another thing, if you're going to talk about Tech, then maybe you should check your grammar? There is a lovely thing called spell check. So, use it.
actually my family is 4 generations of aggies dating back to world war II. I was ranked #3 in my class in a 5-A houston school. I was accepted to a&m, texas, usc, cal-berkley and alabama.... I go to tech because i'm on a full ride theatre scholarship. So ya i'm a "reject".

but how is that if we beat atm pretty much every year, so we cant be a rival against a team we beat every season, thats why i dont count yall as a rival cause theres no point in making a rival against a team u always beat.

@slwdsm Trophy rooms are good for recruiting, but they obviously don't help your coach get a good record or a bowl win. And what's this about the SEC? Does A&M really want to further embarrass themselves?

No. A&M and UT was an offense/no defense football game, while UT/OU was an old school defensive battle that ended in a three point difference. Sorry, but Baylor isn't our rivals. As mucjh as people don't want to admit it, UT, A&M, and possibly OSU are our rivals. And coming from you (A&M fan who's team recently tried to renew their rivalry with Baylor cause their other "rivals" repeatedly beat the shit out of them).Wait till Griffin comes back and they might just be another rival who beats you.
You may have gotten accepted, but you won't graduate. Our school is tough academically, but easy to get into, because the school board wants larger enrollment. Go bag on a school that cares.

No, your friends, coworkers, and family do not count. Tech may not have gotten there yet, but christ, at least our team can make our city proud. When is the last time you guys could say "Hey, we've taken two out of the last three against Texas Tech!" When is the last time you guys have actually lived up to the "Top 15" recruiting class you always bring in. While you come up with a new "clever" remark towards Tech, why don't you ponder over the fact that in the last 16 years, A&Ms reputation is lower than horse's piss.

You want to talk pathetic? Even after you list all of those things, Texas Tech's program is not looked down on as much as A&M. Who can be proud of a team with your credentials, that is still looked at as one of the most pathetic teams in Texas?
Jerrods gunna get drafted, harrel didnt end of story. tech bball sucks the wang and so does every other sport they have except like swimming or somthing like that. A&M is gunna be REALLY good for the next decade. Tech not so much. new coach is not near as good.

haha what are you talking about A&M put a better fight against Texas than OU did that game between OU and Texas was full of shit sloppy ass playing and you guys are rivals with Baylor wait till next season when they have Griffin back that will renew the rivalry trust me
