No fun camping out in conditions like that Kev, especially if you don't have to - but don't dare stop heading out with a tent as often lol. It's the camping parts I look forward to most 😉⛺ maybe not with a damp sleeping bag though... Wet and grim this one, but that's life on the hills sometimes & the weather forecasts lately have been way off. Sounds like you've got plenty to do before your next wet one with re-proofing and waxing etc. Not many clothes could withstand continued rain like that - maybe a bin-bag poncho over the top 😅 Another good watch Kev :)
Honking day bud 😢 looked miserable mate 😢. I've started using a big bin liner bag to keep my kit dry. Weighs nothing and stops me using individual dry bags, I think you get more in the pack that way. Hopefully u get a high camp soon bud. ATVB Tam
Just back from Skye Kev, bailed due to a reoccurring foot problem.. humped a 5 day bag, so I feel your pain carrying all that lot up to not use it... Thanks for sharing as usual but don't rule out a soggy camp.. All part of the fun - including the falls... 😂

Still an adventure Kev! miserable, miserable...interspersed with a few grim, grims..Kinda had the feeling as you were heading up that you were thinking a camp was not on the cards then the disaster sleeping bag sealed the camp outs fate, lucky you were ok with the wee fall too. Not many things worse than a damp, wet sleeping bag. Must get my Paramo reproofed and boots cleaned and waxed...thanks for the reminders. 😂👍👍

Hi Kev interesting chat about the waterproofs , What jacket's can stand up to 3hr+ of rain,,? The problem with sleeping bag a rucksack rain cover would have helped, In heavy rain I bought a oversized jkt which I wear on top of standard jkt , I know Regatta not a fancy name but them jkt's work a treat, as good as my Berghaus gear but a quarter of the price. @@Kev_Russ cheers Kev, is there such a thing as a waterproof jacket? Yesterday I used a waterproof jacket £5 on eBay , it kept me dry after ,3.5 hrs ☔, The outdoor gear is now vast as are the prices, is my £300 jacket much better than my £50 buy,? U2 boys keep up the great videos.mark.
Abandoned...bailed...wimped out...yep, done it. Better than existing in misery in wind rain and zero viz'...the tops will always be there for the next time. Always an adventure whatever the outcome. Forecasts a waste of space now LOL....keep bashing on😀👍Kev.
