Yeah, I got lucky and fond the bracket on ebay. What do you think of the Zards compared to the LeoVince as far as sound. I know its hard to compare audio in a video, but does the Zards have a deep sound or is it just different. The Yoshimura had just a little more of a higher pitch than I wanted. The Zards seems like its the perfect Slip on.
@@Yo-Ken The Zard is pretty damn deep compared to the SC project. I haven't heard the yoshi in person but i think the sheer size of the muffler along with the length of the mid pipe adds depth to it. The LV sounds great too!
Question : I have an opportunity to purchase a new RS or R (*$10K for the new 2024) or purchase a near new 2020 RS with only 1000 miles on it for the same $10K --- what would you pick and why???
Thats a tough call. I think the RS is over priced even with the miles. If you can get the RS for 10,000 out the door, I would lean towards the RS. The bikes are very similar in power and weight, but the 2020 has more option as far as tuning and slip ons.
Ken in my experience I would have gone for the Zard just because it’s the one you really wanted. You might initially think it’s expensive but it will be more expensive as you’ll end up buying it anyway. That’s what happened to me in the past, numerous times, so I’ve finally learned from experience and am now getting what I wanted or else waited till I got it. As to availability, they do ship direct from Italy. I checked. You do get to pay shipping but it’s not that much through my reasoning. You’ll end up buying it anyway. The Zard as you said is the best sounding and best suited to the Triple. Triumph would have made a lot of money if they included it to their accessory list along with “track only” headers from their 2022 stock parts.
Great video. I have the LeoVince as well for my Striple ‘22 as I wanted the exhaust with the most deep sound. I absolutely love it. The volume is perfect and not too loud. The LV is also half the price of the Zard here in Europe so a no-brainer in terms of pricing.
On idle or without revving it Leo Vince sounds insane. Pushing them sound about the same to me at least. I wonder how it would sound on a bigger bike… Hmm😂 Great video there Ken. Thanks for sharing it.
@garyt2864 I haven't been to a dyno, but the only real change is the slip on... if you retain the cat and stock type header I don't think there will be an issue. So far so good with 2300 miles on the exhaust upgrade.
The header is from a 2021 Street Triple... 2019-23 US models can use use a slip. No tune available yet, the ecu is encrypted and has not be cracked yet.

I was able to currently bolt the Leo Vince slip on towards the foot peg, but this brought the slip on super close to the rear tire. It is like 1.5” away from the rear tire. I think it should be ok, just trying to see if there is any other place I can mount it.

I'm with you, LeoVince sounds better and its black which goes better with the bike paining scheme. However, I wish their were tasteful enough to make it a little bit more parallel with the bike. It has some strange angle, protruding out.

Leo Vince makes nice exhausts. I had one on my Ducati Scrambler. You’re right, they generally have a deep growl.

Hard to argue with that, many times I wind up spending more because i should have gone with my first pick.

Loud, if you like a deep loud tone than its your slip on. When just cruising is gets annoying.... but it sounds great when you open the throttle up.

I got them off of ebay. They were new take offs from a 2021 Street Triple. I'm sure you could buy them from Triumph, but they would be pricey.

Anyone checked to fueling with header change and silencers. Is the fueling lean/ rich / safe?

It bolts to the 2019-2022 L shaped bracket on the frame. You will have to purchase that bracket, bolt and rubber bushing or fab something up.

I prefer the Yoshi sound, but the style and location of the LeoVince. The LeoVince fills that awkward space left where the stock exhaust sat.

Replace the header with last gen
Yup the previous gen street triple header bolts right up. Which then allows you to go with any slip on youd like.
