Been loving your content since the algorithm pushed it to me a couple of months back! Keep up the good work! also the pacing of your VO and editing is on point! Not too slow and not too intense ❤
I started watching F1 in 1980 and in all that time the 1988 season was the most boring to watch until 2023 because you knew from the outset that a McLaren would win. In the years building up to 1988 you could be sure that title races would be between 3 or more drivers and a number of teams. In 1981 7 drivers representing 7 teams won races. The only non-McLaren win of 1988 was down to a bizarre series of events at Monza that saw a one time stand in driver mess up McLaren's plans. 1988 was great if you're a die hard Senna or Prost fan. For those who weren't or cheered on one of the other main drivers from that time it was not so great a watch. Fast forwards to 2023 and the interest became all about who would finish in 2nd and 3rd place behind Verstappen. BTW, you've got a great channel here and the videos are well made...I just didn't enjoy 1988 F1 as much as others did.
Someone please make this man more popular... You're tragically under subscribed given the quality.

1985 8 different winning drivers and 8 different pole sitters.
Prost actually validated Senna.
Very true; if Senna had a less competitive teammate, I'm sure people would claim it's because of the car that he won rather than due to his skill.
1:01 McLaren started testing the MP4/4 at Imola - not in Rio.
The car was designed by Gordan Murry
