I had the opportunity to play with Glacier when he was scouted to a team I was on a few seasons ago. Ive been playing in high elo since 2016 and I have never seen someone make the plays he is capable of making. It blew my mind just watching him play. I hope to see him on a team soon.
I could follow it at frame by frame speed in the breakdown, but when it went to full speed, there’s just no chance. I don’t know how anyone processes info that quickly!
@@badenfitzmaurice9013he doesn’t process info that fast he’s predicting and anticipating he knew even if he didn’t bait shatter and block it having his shield up and backing up was the best play there
I played with glacier a couple years back in a youth esports league called XPL and he was as insane as he is in this vid glad to see he is getting recognition
This is good and all, but i feel like a rein player winning on nepal, kings row and havana isnt really that unheard of. To get such a high rank, he has to be winning on maps that are wayyy harder for rein, wouldve loved to see a video on those instead, showing how hes winning when rein is bad because of map
@ no thats all good, im not too fussed. Just as a viewing experience, it seems a lot more interesting to see something like that, instead of on the maps the hero is at its strongest, you know. ”How the prodigy is making an out of meta hero work on his best map” is less cool than ”reinhardt prodigy beating the meta and outplaying his counters on idk gibraltar, oasis or blizzworld or something” Kinda the same vibe as ”how x player made monkey work on gibraltar”, id be much more interested in how how the off meta monkey beats mauga on circuit or runasapi
@@Piggehh Depends on the rank I guess, I've done it once but it was because our comp was maneuver heavy and when Mauga went to dive in we just went around and tore up his back line. Really its the team that makes it
Us oldies thinking hes so young being this good. But back then we were nasty in cod also. Haha nukes after nukes. This kid is insane. Hes very tactical with his positioning. Hope to see him pro one day
your analysis of the game is really good, combine this with your entertaining editing and it makes for an amazing video, you deserve way more views/subs! You definitely earned mine!
Something not mentioned in this video is your success at Rein achieving everything in this video is somewhat dependent upon how well your dps play. Good video overall though.
@ i do enjoy the game, but I just want to see how someone like glacier tackled that when they were climbing. Its not the same as watching an u2gm because thats already a player who was ranked high stomping on kids. I want to see how they got there to that point
I got Q’d into this kid in QP on night at like 2 am or something Im a hog main and he was playing doom then swapped to hog …my team won and I added him after he was chill as fuck …….”GLAD HE DIDN’T GO RIEN THAT GAME 🤢”
Holds two supports hostage on the first point so they can't walk past the choke but if it were me my entire team would die to reaper and ball and proceed to blame me for bad play also that shatter block I do this by putting my shield up just in time and I can't get out of d1 this elo is an absolute hell teammate gap is ridiculous they're all bad half the time. All it takes is several games for me to tilt on them that I've made no progress despite I know it's my team's fault not necessarily mine
Dawg I swear like being a great rein only takes you so far. Everything else is up to dps, like my gameplay is literally on par with this guys but his dps are just so much better. (And I’m not making stuff up, my peak this season was top 223. 42 hours on rein only.)
This gameplay review genuinely baffles me. Glacier just gave you two games, one where infekted played like absolute dogshit (and both enemy dps are barely gm against 2 champ dps), and the other one in bumlow with half the enemy team inting off cooldown. Whats the point of reviewing two games where he didnt do absolutely anything to win or lose the game? The analysis is also just straight up completely wrong, even just looking at the explanation of matchups. Rein cannot play range against mauga, its just completely wrong, rein will lose all the shield in the poke duel and then get out brawled with Mauga E because his shield got burned down. The only reason the poke duel was lost in the first game was because glacier just an inherently more pokey comp and infekted just hard inted 80% of his HP without commiting. Then there's the discussion of rein v ram. In my opinion it just encourages shit rein otps to keep playing rein into ram thinking "kajor said if you play rein into ram like this you will win". No you will not win unless your team is just significantly better than the enemy team and theres nothing the ram can do about it.
Age literally does 😭😭 theres a lot of biological influences age has especially on brain chemistry and also means he has way less experience than any1 else who might be older

6:03 that pin is ridiculous. One of the most generous hitboxes in the game.
Pin's hitbox is either insanely generous, or makes you think that Rein is perpetually covered in vaseline. There is absolutely no in-between.
The deep dive analyses are really interesting to hear.
Also love the generous use of Can You Feel My Heart 🤣
